I couldn't make it to the home opener because of work, so my wife and son went instead.

I watched the first half of the game on television and then drove down to the International District to a prearranged, post game pick up spot and enjoyed the entirely new, amazing experience of listening to the stadium from outside. You could feel every ebb and flow of the game, every defensive stand, every score. It was fantastic.

I would always rather be inside generating that noise, but sitting outside was a good alternative.

On a side note, anyone thinking of getting ADB'S jersey, and personalizing it with "Pedestrian" on the back?
Food for thought.

Cool stuff. Reminds me of living in Boston near Fenway Park. We used to put the TV out on the lawn, turn the sound off, and listen to the crowd from a few blocks away while watching the game. Super cool. Also fun to stand on the overpass near Landsdowne Street with a radio, you could see into Fenway from there, and hear the crowd, and listen to the play by play...

Has anyone ever heard a player that played for Harbaugh praise Harbaugh after they no longer played for him? Even Andrew Luck is iffy on Harbaugh praise.

If that's for real, I'm impressed.
Very cool.

Definitely real. I worked with someone last year who lives even further away (1st Hill). She'd keep her window open during the games to listen to the waves of sound.
