I hope JS is making a hard press for BJ, but odds are he goes to the Commies and Mcd is the consolation prize.
I fear today‘s NFL is too stacked against a defensive HC, but maybe we get lucky with a series of phenomenal OCs or the rules committee finally throttles back catering to offense.
I’m sure his EVP FO had specific contractual duties, I’d be shocked if his current ‘advisor’ role has any. Why would you obligate yourself when you’re getting paid regardless?
Nothing happens in a vacuum. If there’s systemic violations occurring people are aware and likely abetting.
’If unaware’ was an unlikely hypothetical to argue against unfair collateral damage.
Allow me to contradict the contrarian…the school, players, boosters, etc benefited from any cheating.
Even if they weren’t knowing accomplices, at a minimum, punishment provides incentive to avoid the behavior in the future.
Aren’t coaches employed through the League Year? If that’s the case they’re employees up to 3/13 unless expressly released.
Think from what I’ve seen, they’ve been granted permission to seek other roles, but not straight out released. I’d assume that’s the friendly way to do it that maintains...
TSwizzle has a concert in Tokyo on the 10th. With the relative time difference it’s doable to get back to Vegas, but given her next weekend set is in Melbourne, she’d be doing some serious globe trotting.
Wilt may be a little strong, but Penix absolutely was affected by Michigan’s rush. Footwork got loose, throws were rushed, and accuracy suffered.
He had his worst game and ultimately it cost them the natty. Sure the defense had serious issues early on, but they firmed up and gave the offense...
The whole thing is confusing. I’ve see multiple media references to compliance meaning two in-person qualifying candidates, but the NFL site says one external interview and multiple ‘considerations’
Anyone have a link to the actual black letter law as opposed to the reference below...
20 million reasons why. Let the new HC and JS invest those dollars elsewhere.
Of course if they do get Johnson, I could see him wanting to role with Geno for Goff 2.0
But on the third hand, I can see JS wanting a clean break from ’Pete’s guy’
Don’t remember where I read it, but supposedly they aren’t Rooney Rule compliant yet, but have something scheduled for Saturday.
After that if we’re still waiting to hear, playoff coaches make sense.
