    Losing Salk is a huge blow to Seattle sports fans, no doubt about it but it was pretty inevitable if you really think about it. It's a shame that Sandmeyer just signed on with the Fan otherwise I think he and Brock would make a wonderful duo.

    Yeah I don't see it with Allen either but Patterson is as an electric WR prospect as I've seen in a long time. I think that guy has superstar written all over him. I'd have no problem at all gambling on his upside.

    Good post. I've been thinking a lot about this exact scenario since the Revis rumors started up. I think it would, especially in the case of Revis. Sherman would not take kindly to that, I'm quite certain.

    That's a good point and would make a deal much more palatable if he'd be more than a rental for next season only. The question is how much would you give up to make this trade happen?

    Unless the Jets are willing to swap him for Flynn and a mid rounder I don't see it. We've got our own players who are gonna get paid soon enough so why bother giving up anything significant for a one year rental.

    Unless some absolutely damning new evidence comes to light between now and draft day, I'd wager the second part of that statement doesn't come close to happening.

    If JS/PC deem a player worthy of our selection I would think that they've built up enough equity to where we'll be content with whoever they choose. It's fun to speculate and all but the idea that we as fans know/see something that they don't is quite amusing to say the least.
