Seemed to be a solid performer. Good vibes from the commenters.

I think that’s where the 34 mismatch talk comes from. He’s too big to play OLB and on the light side to play DE. As is he’s just right to play 43 DE. Compare him to Carlos Dunlap, who’s 15 pounds heavier, and you really don’t think of Dunlap as an inside player.
Seeing that now, that he quit even the position drills because he was cramping up and winded. The extra weight didn't bother me (see Red Bryant), but the lack of cardio is a big problem. Our top picks for the LAST DECADE all seemed to get injured in camp because they come in out of shape.

We need ILB which are pretty common. We need one starter (bwags could still be that person) and depth until Brooks is fully recovered. Tanner Muse may return as a depth signing.
Whomever we wind up with, I expect they will be much more effective than last year's crew because we will have a...
Really like this signing. We needed two DE and an OLB. Now it's a much more manageable DE and OLB. Since we're pretty much guaranteed either Anderson or Carter, that leaves only one hole to fill on the D-Line.
I anticipate us waiting until after the draft to fill the last spot or add depth...
PCJS have also said they have learned not to bring in a FA as the highest paid defender. It upsets the team chemistry and causes more problems than it solves.
It makes sense to get add depth players like Gaines. We may wind up with Calais Campbell too since they've loved him for a decade and he's in the "rotational player" phase of his career.
Seattle's always been about bargains in FA. So we'll have to see who gets snatched up/paid a premium in...
Not sure why Nagy's pimping JMS with a video of a projected 6th round DE driving him into a 7-step drop. That doesn't make me think, "This guy will end AD and Armstead's reign of terror."
