Funny how free agency technically started today and yet people are seeming to be panicking about our LB squad. There’s a reason some of these guys aren’t coming back and we all saw that reason on the field last season. That position needed an overhaul and it looks like that’s exactly what we are doing.

To be fair, legal tampering is effectively the start of free agency, technicality aside. The top LB free agents are all gone. We need at least 2. There is some reason for concern.

They were a huge liability last year. Brooks most likely will miss a portion of the year. Easily the weakest position on the team right now.

I don't mind that they are blowing up the D-line and LB corp. Was so painful seeing them whiff on tackles and got run all over last year, basically couldn't get much worse. I think the secondary was find and I expect the CB's to keep getting better. Would like a cheaper long term safety to come in since Jamal Adams can't be trusted to stay healthy.

Sure, but LB is one of the weakest position groups in this draft, so not the best year to l NEED to rely on the double dip.

Maybe it's just me, but since players are able to change their minds up until they put pen to paper, I don't start counting anything until contracts are signed which starts today. Anyone can call it free agency before that, I just don't.

We need ILB which are pretty common. We need one starter (bwags could still be that person) and depth until Brooks is fully recovered. Tanner Muse may return as a depth signing.

Whomever we wind up with, I expect they will be much more effective than last year's crew because we will have a better DL in front of them keeping them clean.
