Will ADB be tweeting Cris Carter tonight?

Percy was already on the team when CC made his comments (it was during the playoffs). Graham? Eh, I guess yeah. My waffling is due to the wr vs TE debate. Richardson...maybe? Lockett...no. It's been said numerous times he was not expected to contribute on offense. He blew everyone away once he...

Will ADB be tweeting Cris Carter tonight?

What upgrades? Only new receiver getting major PT is Lockett, and he was brought in to return kicks.

Will ADB be tweeting Cris Carter tonight?

Not sure, but any 12's with a twitter account should make sure CC knows about it.

    Patrick Lewis

As much as I love a good coach/mngmt bashing every once in a while, I think I should point out that Lewis started against Carolina, but got rolled up on in the game and had both knee and ankle problems. So Nowack went back to starting till Lewis was healthy enough to play. (I thought about...

    Patrick Lewis

From what I can tell he's been pretty solid. He had a good game going up against Elvis Dumervil this last week. Him and Okung are getting great help with how much more the TE/WR's are chipping on the ends on their way out into routes. When done well, this makes a huge difference in pass pro.

    Patrick Lewis

I would wager a not-insignificant amount of money that this never even entered PC&J's minds.

You should have killed Seattle while you could, NFL

We've basically got a bunch of almost-equally-bad teams beating each other. Usually there's at least one team still fighting for their first win by now but the lowest is 3 wins by 3 teams. One of which is in town this weekend.

    Question about run blocking...

Yes, outside zone. You can see Rawls original path is to the outside leg of Gilliam. Same rules as my first response. You push the original path as long as possible then make your cut up field. In this 2nd case, it's the DE pushing Gilliam back while main keeping outside leverage. Rawls gets as...

    Question about run blocking...

I doubt he's paying too much attention to pre snap alignment, primarily because so many things can change at the snap- slants, twists, gap exchange with blitzing backers. General rule is you stay on your original path as long as you can, make one cut and then you're upfield. For whatever it's...

    Missed opportunity against MIN

I don't think there's any way Jackson is the primary on this. I can't find the youtube copy I was watching yesterday to verify this with a non-paused video, but pretty sure RW's footwork is timed to LW's break, not to mention he clearly doesn't recognize the LB free off the edge till late, which...

Do you remember when in the game this was? I'm interested in seeing it.

    Missed opportunity against MIN

Well I think he's a great (and the best) option from a presnap, hypothetical standpoint. Taller, bigger TE 1v1 against the corner with the middle of the field cleared out. I'm having computer issues so I can't see where the corner is presnap (inside vs outside leverage), so there might be an...

    Missed opportunity against MIN

I think you missed the point of this conversation (or at least I think you did, others involved can tell me I'm wrong) which is the fun of going through a play where things didn't go perfect, and figure out 1)what they were trying to do and 2)What should have they been trying to do instead. I...

    That's Russell Wilson's bird

I was about to argue it's not but I had to really listen to the commercial to decide you're right. I always assumed it was Mack's line cause it was only him talking for the rest of the commercial, but it's definitely RW's voice. He doesn't say the line on camera from what I can tell though-his...

Offensive Line - still a work in progress

Sounds like we're in agreement here with one addition point, the following plays(non exhaustive) were 5 steps or more with no scrambling/sprint outs: 9 yards to Lockett right after the play you're referencing below, the 30 yards to him again when he got drilled, and both the 20 and 50yd TDs to...
