    No significant Seahawk injuries yesterday

And besides Unger, what about Big Red? I think his situation is probably less severe, because he continued to play, but he still has to pass all the concussion protocol steps.

Are we bad against the run?

Yeah, Pete said that too. I always thought the strategy was the first guy went completely for the tackle, and if the runner was still standing when the second Hawk got there he was the one trying to strip the ball. That right? Or am I thinking Chuck Knox days?

Hey Jerry Brewer ... SHUT UP!!

Actually, I'm not so concerned about the Offense, missing a fair number of people, as the Defense. Our last two games for the Defense were pitiful, and who, exactly, were we missing? Against TB, nobody. Against St. Louis, IIRC Bobby Wagner was out and replaced by Malcolm Smith, who many of...

Hey Jerry Brewer ... SHUT UP!!

Totally agree. Y'all can talk about parity and "any given Sunday" all you want, but the fact is, in St. Louis we stunk. They had statistics for the game we thought our team would have, and the Hawks had theirs. Okay, so St. Louis has been tough the last few games and it was on the road as...

    Darrell Bevell.

Amen Bro. Exactly what many of us have been saying for some time now. Hope he goes in the offseason.

Aros' Fearless Prediction Thread (Bucs @ Seahawks)

Well, last game I picked the Hawks by a buttload of points, and we all know how that turned out. I certainly believe we will prevail against Tampa Bay, especially at home, but I'm not predicting a blowout. Seattle 16 Tampa Bay 7 Record-to-date 6-2

Where Have You Stood on Bevell?

Instructed by whom? Pete is a defense guy, always has been. I imagine Cable can contribute, but I get the impression he's totally focused on his line. So who?

Where Have You Stood on Bevell?

I chose average, only because I thought he was good last year. This year he sucks IMO. The St. Louis game is a good example. The Lambs were #30 in run defense!!! Lynch up the gut. Lynch up the gut. Lynch to the outside. Any of you see that? So they put eight in a box. Big deal. Okay...

    If I'm Pete Carroll...

The most damage from the Rams came from their defensive ends on the outside. This allowed a lot of sacks going around our tackles and tight ends; this also effectively stopped Russell from running away from pressure. What baffles me is this: I always thought that Plan-A for pressure from the...

    I don't get it?

With apologies to the OP, I just wanted you to know the Crabtree is not expected to play, or not expected to play well, against us. Here's the link-- http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/9854597/michael-crabtree-san-francisco-49ers-not-make-meaningful-contribution-postseason

Petes Thursday Presser NOW !!!! (link)

I agree we need to ease him back. I originally thought as you, why bring him back for a game we should (and will!) win handily? But I'm thinking this is a great game for those first few plays. I mean, what's the worst that can happen? Even if he runs the wrong route and RW is intercepted...

Aros' Fearless Prediction Thread (Seahawks @ Rams)

Only question about this game is, when do we put in the subs? Seahawks 34 Rams 6 Season 5 - 2

Best "spectacular catch" receiver on the Seahawks?

I know Rice sometimes makes really, really difficult passes, but time after time it's Baldwin.

    Christain Michael

Who knows? When we're ahead 60 points Monday against the Lambs and need to drain the clock, maybe Beast and Turbo will get tired and Michael will get some carries!

Pro Bowl voting is up, vote early and often!!!

Thanks guys. I tried both, completing all sections and hitting Submit a few times. No progress. Any other ideas?

Pro Bowl voting is up, vote early and often!!!

I go through all the picks, but when I hit "Submit Ballot" nothing happens. Do I have to be some sort of insider or what?

    schedule

Agree. I see both of these as very difficult, even at home (NO). But... I think we should not overlook the Rams. At the beginning of the season I really thought these guys under Jeff Fisher would come alive. Hasn't happened yet, but a flat start against them on a national game might turn ugly.
