    Jenkins visiting Seahawks on Monday

JS doesn't have the luxury of time on his hands on unless he thinks they will be ready to roll in 2027 as an OL unit.

    Darnold Contract Details

Yeah the Seahawks lack the speed to match what the Saints had before injuries took their toll. Walker and JSN are not slow but Kamara, Olave and Shaheed are on another level.

I wouldn't be so fixated on Fries because there are still OL out on free agent market that can help the Seahawks.

If I am looking at things correctly 2026 is the year they make a big push. The ten draft selections will be mostly on offense because I can not imagine most of them going on defense. Outside of backup ILB, CB and S the defense is set for the most part.

So most NFL teams will sign veterans on 1 or 2 year deals and draft developmental guards in rounds 3, 4, and 5 to give them a year or two to start or compete to start. Teams that are backed into a corner for interior OL help tend to draft them in rounds 1 and 2 as the urgency is greater...

I am not so sure this team is built to win now because on one hand yes they did sign Darnold and Kupp. But on the other hand no one on offense has a long term contract realistically and JS has stockpiled 10 draft selections.

    Center?

Patriots already had 4 centers on their roster but Bradbury is an upgrade as it allows Strange to compete at LG instead of being forced to play center. Patriots had one of the worst OL units last season and now have the following: LT????? LG Strange OC Bradburry RG Onwenu RT Moses Big upgrade...

Chase and Higgins signed by Bengals

The NFL is a team game which is a complete roster is more important than anything else. But the Bengals really, really need to shore up the defensive trenches or else they will miss the playoff again. In a division with the Browns, Steelers and Ravens you can't have a defensive front so weak...

Look if JS is against paying high dollar for OL then he needs to really look at interior OL in round 2 if he refuses to invest in round 1 interior OL. Not many guards and centers are worth drafting in round 1 so I understand this point. But in round 2 that is when the run on "non premium...

Sadly another third round guard in the mix means at best you have a borderline starter level or worse case scenario backup level player moonlighting as a starter.

Why does health matter for OL but not for players like Kupp and MVS?

Tell us how you really feel? My sentiment on this issue is that is JS ready to spend a 1st or 2nd round pick on a guard in this years draft that can seriously push for playing time THIS year? Because if he waits till the 3rd/4th/5th round to draft a guard the pickings will be slim. Plus, in...

You have to have at least one anchor on offense. I mean you have to pay your homegrown players that you draft and develop at some point or else there is no point in focusing on the draft.

Saints do need OL upgrades and that is what sunk their season last year. I mean they did have injuries to the skill positions too but really that OL play was a problem for them which is why I do not blame Kubiak for walking into that situation.

Or Option C Sign Jenkins to a 1 year deal and trade down to take Zabel in round 1.

Chase and Higgins signed by Bengals

A lot of NFL teams have increased the value and importance of WRs due the rule changes. Traditionally QB, OT, CB and Edge rushers were considered the premium positions. But now WR has entered the conversation. That is why losing Metcalf and Lockett in one off season is brutal and a big gamble...

    Center?

And that is the problem. Ideally you draft OL and then you retain them. But it is always better to overpay for good OL then mediocre ones on the open market. Is JS willing to spend a first round pick on a guard or center?

    Wilson's next team?

If Wilson was smart he would sign with a team with that has a starting QB with an injury history.
  19. S

    Cooper Kupp signed

Kupp does a lot of his work from the benefit of motion too while Locket is a classic WR on the boundary. That is a good break down. Thank you!
