Looks like he'll get a medical eval in late July and could be ready week one. If that's the case I feel very comfortable with our running back room early on

I am just trying to remember right... Didn't Charbs struggle when he got the chance to be the lead back?

He has been a pure stud as the backup, but I kind of remember him not being as effective when he started.

Fun note: All we have for Half Backs are back ups.

Hopefully Price is that diamond in the ruff everyone is saying he is!

But I was told that the “delay” in getting him to surgery was bad, and probably meant he wouldn’t be back until later in the season.

Here are his stats in games started. Technically, he didn’t start any games in 2025. Outside of that 2024 Patriots game, he’s looked pretty solid. I also don’t remember why he had so many dropped passes against Green Bay, but I do remember him running well, and it looks like he’s been a solid receiver otherwise.

Had to look up who CJ Prosise was 'cause I thought you were comparing Charbs to him in terms of being injury-prone or something. (though I didn't see any news in the past of CJ being injury-prone. He just didn't play much for the Hawks)

One of Charb’s strengths has been his durability. He missed what, 2 games in college due to injury?

Before the ACL tear, I think it was 2 games missed for us.

Prosise was made of glass. Missed 30 games due to a variety of injuries, during his time here. It always seemed he was on the cusp of getting his health together, and breaking out.

Ehhhh, we just won a SB and have appeared in four over the past 20 years. So yeah, our team can do quite a bit right.

Well they did just win the most recent Super Bowl so yes they can do things right.

Don’t understand the phenomenon of how Charbs is pretty much is still a “JAG” in some people’s eyes despite him being a consistently dependable team player that does the dirty work, no questions asked, compared to someone like Jake Bobo getting geeked over and stan upon at every opportunity. Fandom is weird. Get the difference in a 2nd round pick and a UDFA but at this point it has to be rendered irrelevant right? Charbs is the more productive and more important player overall.

This is AMAZING news, and I'm sure they won't rush him back to avoid another injury but if he's good to go for week 1 I will be ecstatic!

Usually the expectations of a higher pick are greater. Charbs being a 2nd round pick puts him as a target for any criticism. Critics are always subjective in their criticism. Is it fair... probably not.

No one expects anything from Bobo. The one or two plays he makes per season are just feel good stories.

Isn't this Charbs last year of contract?
Of course, he's going to want to make them dollars by being back
early because it looks good.
I don't think it's a great thing, I've seen players injure something else
when doing this, I don't like it - Rehab and strengthen the body properly,
if it takes till week 4, then so be it.

Being able to to run is one thing, cut and burst to the hole is another, he may be practice ready but back to his former ability, i have doubts till next year.

Let’s definitely not rush him back, I agree. Still great news though.

It will be cool to see some of this stuff potentially play out progress wise on Hard Knocks. Guess I need to get HBO Max now…
