Draft interest poll

We have about 8 hours to the start of the draft. I'm a huge draft fan. Always have been. I even had a 3 minute sports show on a college TV station back in the day that I would use to report on the draft. I think we had a viewership of maybe 7 people. 9 if my parents remembered to tune in.

I'm just kind of curious as to everyone else's thoughts and plans regarding the draft. My wife knows that I'm out of commission for most anything else while the draft is on. I might mow the lawn Saturday but will be listening as I go. Probably a good idea to move my body for at least an hour.

It depends on our 1st round position for me. I'll always watch the draft and buy a couple draft magazines to get caught up with the players, but like this draft picking at 18, I just see us trading back which isn't exciting. However, when we have two picks in the first like in 2023, or a pick within the top 5 like in 2023, I get really, really into the draft! That's when it becomes like Christmas for me.

I root for solid picks for our beloved Hawks - and then I root for chaos.

I especially enjoy watching shitty teams screw the pooch with regularity.

So the Jets, Giants and Browns are interesting. I also enjoy checking out their Forums to watch their poor fans suffer.

It takes away the sting of our own sometimes sub-par drafts.

Love love the draft. Christmas for football fans. I don't watch the talking heads on tv though. Just follow what's going on online. I can check in and out throughout without being completely glued for hours on end.

Used to love it before it became so commercialized, I am always interested but these days keep tabs as it flows, too many Experts all with different opinions on who we would take that due very little of their own homework and have compilations of the opinions on the internet to guide them. We see how good all of them are.

Stoked. Mostly for the 1st round, but day 2 is solid too. Have a tradition of heading up to a friend's house, putting in some pre-draft miles on the trails, grabbing some grub and enjoying round 1. We predict what player each team will pick in the 1st round. NFL Draft is a blast, but day 3, I'm more just checking updates and will throw it on for our upcoming picks.

I knew you were as cool as the other side of the pillow. Great tradition! A friend of mine recorded me freaking out talking to myself the year we drafted Earl Thomas. Browns fan. He keeps that for fun moments.

There wasn't a watch day 1 and 2 option but that's my plan and im just too busy to wait that long on Saturday
I will probably be doing stuff while wearing earbuds and listening ya know , multi tasking

How interested are you in the draft?

I love the draft. Its like Christmas for football fans.

I enjoy the draft and will watch all three days.

I start looking towards the draft a couple weeks before and will watch the 1st round

I'll check the draft out casually waiting for the Seahawks first pick.

I'll glance at the Seahawks picks and hope for the best.
