a few more details. 2 year $75 million extension. $66.5 million guaranteed. Incentives could push it to $85.5 million. This extension starts after this next season

A lot of the talk of how much better Geno's going to be with the Raiders without immediate pressure reminds me so much of how much talk there was 3 years ago in the off-season of how much better Wilson would be in Denver without a bad o-line and Pete holding him back.

Man…Oz…the thing that ‘gets’ me is the whole O-line thing.
By many metrics, we were dead last or close to it (31st on PFF).
I know we made an offer to Geno and if players don’t want to be here, see-ya!!
If our line was decent, we wouldn’t be having this conversation because everyone would eat!
I’m holding on to the fact that we’re rather young up front…and more than any other position group sans QB,O-linemen often need time to mature.
If Darnold comes in ripping it up, perhaps this perspective is null and void.
