Will be a very dynamic duo with the offense. MVS is another freak when used right. Lockett was good but not as a blocker and was a pussy tbh. Glad we improved our draft stock while improving our wr unit. DK bitched a little too much and was easily rattled mentally and psychologically in game by opposing DB’s. I cannot fathom how anyone can watch Locketts career and disrespect him like this. It drives me crazy. The man was an adamant team player and one of the best route runners in the game. Did he outprice his own market by moving cap money every year for the team? Yes he did and it was time to move on but I’ve seen enough of the TL disrespect.

It is possible Lockett played far tougher than many give him credit for; suppose he had a concerning health issue or not-fully-recovered injury that he had played through as it didn't prohibit him from running, jumping, and catching, and that he avoided the hardest/unnecessary hits in order to avoid needing to be carried off on a gurney.

did I think he was too quick to get on the ground? Sometimes, yes.

He deserves praise to the moon for his career as a whole. GREAT dude, fantastic football player

He deserves small amounts of criticism for the way he chose to dive to the ground the final two years here

Both can be true.

And to add this: I get why he did it. Head injuries are a scary thing. But when you get to that point, (and it was obvious he did) it's time to hang em up

Lockett 2nd only to Largent, plus a bunch of return & rush yards. Both men born on the same day and both pure class. Like Largent, Tyler bailed the Seahawks out time after time and was an absolute joy to watch.
We were so lucky to have him. Traded up to get him and worth every bit of it, one of John's best draft picks. Smaller in stature than even Largent, with hands that mirrored Steve's. Both great route runners and all heart, we were twice blessed.
