The player can't stay healthy, if they can get a decent draft pick I would take it, or another RB who actually can stay on the field week in and out, I would say go for it.

I get a little annoyed when people automatically write off any report they don't like as "clickbait", but SI literally is mostly AI garbage now. They've made a mockery out of an industry icon and deserve all the criticism they get and more.

Connecting every Hawks free agent and every Hawks player approaching the end of their current deal to the Raiders is lazy. Aside from Pete not being the GM, theyve made a move for exactly one of our guys so far. Even when Pete was our GM, he didn't go to the USC pipeline anywhere near as much as people thought they would, and when they did, it was modest investments of mid/late draft picks and cheap free agent deals.

If the Seahawks have other RB targets in the lower rounds of the 2025 Draft that they'd like to add then the Raiders pick #143 would be a fairer trade. Maybe the Seahawks really like Walker and see him as RB1 beyond 2025. Who knows? Personally I see Walker's physical abilities and potential but I don't see great football skills. I don't see Smith being keen on a re-unification in Las Vegas.
