I’m loving it. Geno needed to go, and Darnold should fit the direction of this offense better. Play action should be better. I think he will be fine in the timing routes area.

DK wasn’t a fit with the timing element of this offense. Don’t believe me, go back and watch last year’s loss to Danold’s Vikings. DK runs the wrong route and it was game over.

There are several offensive linemen in the draft that fit what the plan is moving forward. Should come away with some quality players in the first three rounds.

I look at it as this team needed to reboot the offense much like what MM did to the defense last year. LFG!!!

I feel great about the moves and am optimistic going into next year…but I’ll be the first to admit I’m a Seahawks homer since the day they became a franchise. I think Super Bowl every year, so my vote shouldn’t count
Yeah, me too. I was 5 years old when I went to my first Seahawks game in 76, been hooked ever since.

Wait and see.

I fully expect Schneider to go to the dollar store again for offensive lineman.

We don’t improve the line, we are going to have a tough year

There has really been just 3 big changes. The QB swap, The new OC and the loss of DK. Feels a bit like a push so far to me.
Have to wait and see what they do with the oline and if they can add any impact player(s) between FA and the draft.

I think we made a lateral swap at QB. The big plus side here is Kubiak has experience with Sam Darnold and he's worked in similar systems over the last two years. Last season he was also one of the top play action passers in the NFL. Geno was reportedly looking for 45 mil a year, which means we potentially save a huge amount of money with Darnold in addition to having a potential out. Only 50 mil is guaranteed so there isn't much risk. We also got a high 3rd round pick out of this deal.

We now have a hole at receiver and huge holes in the interior line. We need to make some moves here, ideally a vet and then drafting some one in addition to that. If we do that this offense can potentially do some damage. We have talented backs that are versatile, another thing we might invest in is a TE.

Holy shit. I voted before I realized we F'd up and signed DarNO. Please downgrade my vote by 2 positions, and get off my lawn.
Were you bitching about Gino last few season too?

Disappointed but aware this coming year was likely not going to be great for us.

Geno worked out better than hoped/expected.

Maybe lightning strikes twice but hope is usually something clung to by people that failed to plan correctly. We will see.

Feel good. Darnold + $10 million + a 3rd > Geno. Geno didn’t want to be here.

I think JS is working something with Fries, just want to bring him in for medicals.

MM has his hands all over this team and building it in his vision. Have extra picks (high picks) to accelerate his vision.

This team doesn’t feel like the same retread we’re used to. I trust the process and excited for the future.

The team is worse as it stands as of now. They need to add a minimum of 2 wr and Darnold is a younger cheaper Geno with imo bigger bust potential. Hopefully they attract a few more players to sign and draft to the need of this team now and not some stretch at qbotf that busts...

The team as it stands right now is not going to see the field so that's pretty irrelevant

Kubiak will play the TEs a ton. This is not the same scheme. We’re not going to play, 3,4, 5 WR sets like Grubb did.

OL and TE. Build it!

Cautiously optimistic, yet also fearful this will turn into another six year stretch of mediocrity. Would have preferred a rookie battle at camp with Howell, but I get it. It's a business.

There's still a long way to go in this offseason, but so far, so good IMO. I was never a huge Geno fan and even less of a Metcalf fan. Now we have a bunch of cap space and draft capital, including 5 picks in the top 100, to address the glaring needs on this team, the IOL and edge/LB.
