I know this may seem absurd, but move the stadium out of downtown Seattle so food/parking/access is cheaper/easier/safer. I make it pretty good money and I actually live within a 15 minute to the stadium, and the all those factors that have gotten nothing but worse over the last 10 years have made an impact on my joy of going to a game as well. Maybe it changes when the light rail is really going everywhere. But as of now, taking the bus really sucks when it comes to going back home (you have to leave the game early, or pay for an uber back which saves you no money). Parking has gone up significantly everywhere and I already had my car broken to twice in the last 4-5 years, zero times the first 5 years. and again food costs (which is more of a downtown Seattle thing) has just gotten more and more absurd too. The last game I went to, I took the bus both ways and packed all my food and drinks for the entire day...the ONE treat I gave myself was a $7 seattle dog outside, which they also stopped doing deals on...remmeber when it was 2 for $5 after the game?

This is why I never understood the decision to build an outdoor stadium,
you can't use "doesn't age well" when the Superdome has been around
since 1974.
Paul Allen grew up watching the Huskies play and he felt strongly that football should be played outdoors. Meh. I would have preferred a domed stadium personally considering Pacific Northwest weather late in the year.

I can see both sides of it. Football should be played outside, imo. But........there have been some games I wish it was indoors

I enjoy watching football played outside, I don't mind being in the elements myself, but I know the elements is a real big detractor for a lot of people and when it comes to putting butts in seats beyond the portion of fans willing to brave the elements. Well if you're pricing out the blue collar and your team is not competitive enough to be the hottest ticket in town. Whelp...
On a personal note, I think my biggest issue with a cold weather game in an open stadium is:
1) you don't really crave a cold beer, at least I don't. And hot chocolate or hot coffee just doesn't put me in the Seahawks football mood.
2) Kind of sucks to spend $15 on a pizza/nachos/hotdog and have it instantly get cold before you even get halfway to your seat...for those of us poors not in Club.
