I believe the OTC number listed in the OP reflects Genos restructure. What's our Salary cap after the Geno restructure? Does anybody know?
The team has $12.9 million in available cap space (total). What's our Salary cap after the Geno restructure? Does anybody know?
Me too, but I think they'll still want him to restructure to some degree.I hope that means Tyler will be here next season.
A lot of that is going towards leonard.... Going to be let down if you think hawks are going big in FAAnd just like that, $13M in cap space. Still not enough to make a huge splash in free agency (the 'Hawks are 22nd in relative space), but with a cut here, a re-work there, it's enough to remain competitive while mildly overhauling the roster.
What if instead of signing Leonard we go for DJ Reader?A lot of that is going towards leonard.... Going to be let down if you think hawks are going big in FA
You're including draft picks but not the players they replace for the 51, they'll be closer to 10 than 8 unless my math is off.The team has $12.9 million in available cap space (total).
Basically $7.8 million in effective cap space, when you also factor in the cost of draft picks.
But there will be other costs that will come into play. So, they don't have a ton of wiggle room at the moment.
He'd be a great fit, but would kill a comp pick for Bobby and/or Brooks... I'm also concerned about his health vs leonard. What if instead of signing Leonard we go for DJ Reader?
That's the current math according to OTC.You're including draft picks but not the players they replace for the 51, they'll be closer to 10 than 8 unless my math is off.
They'll have plenty of wiggle room once guys like Bellore and mone are gone, along with several Restructures
I forget the exact math I did, but I had us a bit over 15 mil after the draft, cuts, Restructures and signing leonard
That's without cutting any big names, but still not a ton of room considering the gaps at NT, IOL, MLB
Can't address that all in the draft, it's one of the reasons I wanted to trade geno, add the 22.5 mil and a qb on rookie pay and it would have been smooth sailing
That actually specifically doesn't include the draftSeahawks sit at 16.1 million under the cap.
That number includes all 2024 projected draft pool money and dead cap hits of players that are
no longer on the team but doesn't include any free agent that might be resigned.

Good catch. They must have added that little statement after the new cap number was announced. That actually specifically doesn't include the draft
"Estimated cap dollars necessary to sign upcoming draft picks (not included in the cap figure yet)"
Specifically under projected draft pool cap, kind of difficult to see.
That being said they don't need to be compliant until September I believe, so they're irrelevant for the time being, but at some point the projected 9.3 minus the trash players they're replacing need to be accounted for.... Will be closer to like 4.5-5 when including the players pushed out of the top 51
Top-51 rule explained: How much cap space will it really cost to sign the Falcons draft class?
To understand just how much it will cost to sign Atlanta’s draft class, we first have to understand how the NFL’s "top-51 rule" works. Here’s an in-depth explanation of the top-51 rule and how much it will actually cost to sign the Falcons’ rookies.www.thefalcoholic.com
Great explanation there
