No offensive points in the last six quarters. Yet the Geno faithful remain.

No offensive points in the last six quarters…but let’s keep talking about how “efficient” Geno Smith is. It’s easy to be efficient when you throw everything to your check down target.

This is a good point.

I think Geno is still the best option this year, but you can't use box score stuff to evaluate his game. His completions are going to inflate what his play looks like.

Lots of people to blame for the problems this year.
Geno is pretty far down the list so far.

I have a feeling (ie I am sure) that Lock would be worse. At least Geno is reasonably capable, he won't carry a team but he won't sink one either.

Lockett received the most targets. He's not exactly a checkdown target. Also the big play on the Lucas penalty wasn't a checkdown.

This is what I don't get though. We know this is his game, we've had aa few years to see it. Why not put Lock in there and see if has anything. This game is way more indicative of this year's team than the emotionally charged SB we played last week.He got his moment. One more forgettable game from him and the next start should go to Lock.

I think Geno's game would be fine if we could complement it with a running game. Unfortunately our inability to do so leaves us 3rd and long where Geno is ever gonna succeed.

At the same time i don't know that Geno strikes fear in anyone so teams are just gonna stack the box. Until we beat people over the top on a consistent bases we're gonna struggle on offense.

I don't really have a preference between Smith and Locke. Would be surprised, though, if there is such a thing as Geno or Drew "faithful."

Any time I hear you stick up for geNO it's funny to me. Don't take it personal. I just think he's not that good. Come on man, no need to go down this road again.

That's not me sticking up for him, though?

It's a statement that you SHOULD agree with - Geno's completion percentage inflates what his actual play looks like.

Jesus, dude. Read.

Fair enough. I have a right to my opinion. If you think Geno is very good because he can throw the ball 5 yards to a wide of open guy, great.
I'll believe it when I see him actually lead the team in the 4th quarter of a big game. Or when they actually SCORE SOME POINTS.

Last I checked, you score points to win games. Ignore him, he’s a fan of mediocrity.

The QB leads the team, if he's not putting up points, it's on him. That's how it always has been. Instead, excuses are made for not being productive on the scoreboard. I don't give a rip if a guy is "accurate" from 5 yards out. Check down Charlie is great IF you're scoring points. ZERO POINTS IN 6 QUARTERS.
but....but......he has a high completion percentage. So?

There's no way you're actually reading what I'm saying. You're laugh reacting me for saying something NEGATIVE about Geno, and then putting words in my mouth that I'm not saying.

You're bordering on impossible to coversate with, because you're just typing random shit that has nothing to do with what I'm saying.

I'm saying Geno's completion percentage MAKES HIM LOOK BETTER THAN HE'S ACTUALLY PLAYING. You AGREE with this statement. You're laugh reacting like you disagree, so by all means, tell me WHY you disagree

EXACTLY! I'm saying his high completion percentage is misleading!

Geno's fine. Season's still early. He's not getting much help from play-calling. Seahawks are YoY passing at a higher % than 2021 when we had a Pro-Bowl QB. Why not run the young guys a little more?

There will be no big games this season.
