Forget the mother and father, it’s the son Neal that we have to be concerned with as it seems he will have a significant role in the organization. Please please please just leave it up to the football folks to make a decisions![]()
Seems to me it means he'll be comfortable taking some risks if the reward has true value...maybe a good fit with JS.Apparently he's one of the greatest venture capitalist in Silicon Valley history.... what that means for owning a NFL team? who knows
Conflict of interestPart owner of the niners...yikes
Well, it could be a lot worse, BUT....
The thought of the new owner being a lifelong 49ers fan with a current (but in the process of selling) stake of the 49ers ownership raises so many red flags for me, it's a little difficult for me to be enthusiastic about it right now. MAJOR trust issues, hopefully he doesn't mess up a great thing running by feeling the need to dip his fingers in the pie.
Yes, but Paul was a seasoned business professional at that point who helped build a behemoth of a company. I always get concerned when siblings come in to play and try to be “Cowboys”, no pun intended, to make their mark.John always said the perception that Paul Allen was hands off was inaccurate.. he was involved in every decision.
Lots of stupid billionaire owners over the years in the NFL. Lots of them.Nobody who values money enough to become a multi-billionaire is going to put down $9.6b just to tank a team. I get why some are in wait-and-see mode, but who gives a crap who he grew up rooting for? His allegiance is going to be to the team making him even more obscenely rich.

FIFY.I hope he takes advice of all parents who tell their young kids walking into a store:
You can look BUT DO NOT STEAL ANYTHING OVER $949!!!!
Absolutely, but they aren't stupid on purpose. If he fails, it won't be because he grew up a Niners fan.Lots of stupid billionaire owners over the years in the NFL. Lots of them.
