Can you just paraphrase the between the lines bit?

I could sure, but then you would be hearing my opinion of what he said.

You would enjoy it much more if you took the time to watch it and form your own opinion.

I’ll never understand why some people in our society allow others to do their thinking for them.
In this particular instance you’re actually asking for it.

I get it, it’s a bit of a time intensive to watch these press meetings.
Fact is, we don’t have football to watch right now, you can actually watch all of the teams press meetings in less time than you would spend watching a game. Hell probably less time than watching the first 1/4 of a game.

Imagine for a moment how good it would feel to have your very own informed opinions of our team’s progress vs ……

Well you know, the alternative.

He's so well spoken and articulate. It's easy to like him because he brings insight that shines through the regular cliches. Good presser.

To me, it resonated when he talked about DHall and the team mentality of not chasing stats. He mentioned Spoon and NickE too. That's the polar opposite of Miles Garrett who had a ton of sacks but the majority were vs a few QBs that are very sack-prone. I'm not harping on Garrett. It's a difference of who/what the team rewards: my interpretation, not his words.

Some people are reading forums on their phones in waiting rooms, buses, etc. where watching a video isn't practical. Posting the video without any commentary makes it kind of a tease because it's just a video link they can't do anything with atm whereas any commentary or notes can still be read.

Nonsense ........

Access to the original posted source is the listener's responsibility ....... not the posters.

Add to that ..... comprehension of any posted messages is the reader's responsibility.

I hope this view doesn't offended anybody. But, it needed to be posted.

It’s not like the members here don’t visit multiple times per week, many do so multiple times per day.

I posted enough information for anyone with one eye and half an ass to determine if they are interested.

Just check back when it’s convenient for crying out loud.

Normally I would agree with you that people should listen to direct sources for information and not just rely on second hand info.

However, in this case you say that people need to "listen between the lines" and "draw a conclusion or two". Yes, people should draw their own conclusions, but for the sake of discussion, it would probably be useful for people to know what conclusions you've drawn from this. Then people can agree or disagree as they wish.

Good point if I was looking for folks to agree or disagree with me, I’m not however.

I gave plenty enough context for anyone to gather a general feel for what I thought about the interview/press release if they are looking to agree or disagree with my personal opinion, after they form their own.

It’s my opinion, that we spend way too much time agreeing or disagreeing with others rather than just having a discussion about how we think or feel about a particular situation or subject.

I get it, this is a discussion board.
Not every “discussion” has to include agreeing or disagreeing, that’s only what most of these threads evolve into. It’s certainly not a requirement, and I personally believe we’d be a better place without the bickering that tends to happen.

If it’s conclusions folks want, they can conclude that I wouldn’t have posted the Q/A session if I didn’t find it a positive reflection on the team, or that I thought it would be worth their time to watch.

Fact of the matter is, I couldn’t care less if folks agree or disagree with my opinions.
I posted the video as a service because I thought they would enjoy it.

🤷🏻‍♂️
