He's a grown man. Doubled on the regular, doesn't matter. Dude gets to the QB, as well or better than any player in the league.

Garrett’s Production:
Garrett finished the game with 1.0 sack, 1 quarterback hit, and 4 total pressures. However, PFF tracking data showed that his sack actually came while looping inside on a stunt rather than beating Cross strictly on the outside edge.
If he tries to loop inside he'll be meeting Mr. Zabel.

It's honestly fine. We just won the SB, and it's in the books for good. This is them lamenting that they missed a golden opportunity so they're going all in for one this year (and they still have to run the gauntlet and do it). Take a look at Spotrac...their roster construction for 2027 doesn't look so good. We're much better set up for longer term success even if they're the favorite this year.

And with that QB and that roster, why wouldn't they try to go for it? I hate them more than any team in sports, but going all in isn't something new. It just feels really shady when they do it.
I agree. If you are them, in the situation they have with Stafford and McVey, why not? I mean, it certainly worked for them last time.

I prefer what Schneider is doing, building for long-term competitiveness, but if I had the Rams situation, I’d be making the desperation move too. Pay the piper in three to four years, and shoot your shot now.

Two different philosophies, and it will be interesting to see which one comes out on top in the long run

The more I think about it, how cool would it be if the Hawks traded for Verse? Oh man. The NFL loves their drama.

Oof this is a big time move for the Rams. Stacking up on defense.

What’s their cap situation after this shakes out?

Throwing the kitchen sink to win a ring this year. Basically screw the future. Im guessing McVey goes when Stafford leaves and at this point can they even afford to extend Nacua and Byron Young after this year?

Will laugh so much if Stafford can't stay healthy this year or his form dips.

Miles will get an ACL. Trading Verse is gonna curse them. Window closed. Seriously though, look what we made the Rams do: Draft a 3rd round qb at #13, trade for a corner and then Garret. We will see how it works.

4/5 of their starting OL are UFA next year.

Just remember when you stack personalities like the Rams are you sometimes have a culture problem, seen it with the Eagles, Redskins, Jets, Broncos over the years. They have to play together for the team and not their stat sheets. Sit back and see what happens.

I like it, cause, the Rams, are banking on Garrett completing powering their special teams, oh wait, their special teams are still ass!

I love Garrett, but, Verse, was a good player for them too. Rams, are trading the later for the now.

If Stafford does not have an MVP year, it will not work for the Rams!
