I still can't believe they came up with 2 sac flies not only in the same game, but the same inning. With runners at 3b, they leave them on regularly, usually with a whiff or 2.

Overall a pretty good game against a rookie southpaw. Lots of traffic, lots of hits, though no homers. Right handed bats were hot. Even Refsnyder got a hit and was HBP twice. Hey, any way you can get on base, right?

Robles was smoking tonight, 2 singles and a double. Great coverage in RF as well. Nice to have him back.

Took the series, chance for the sweep tomorrow. It's about time they started to assert their place in the division. If we sweep, we're leading the division.

Crazy range by 2B Young to field the ball practically on the right foul line! Granted, the ball hopped off the turf and Young was already shifted right with SS Crawford manning 2B, but still.

If I was and A's fan, I'd be pretty stoked about that kid. Clearly had a lot of nerves, as he should. But he had some pretty damn good stuff. Def. not going to be doing cartwheels over a team that is 2 games under .500. But......they could take over 1st place today. Thank you AL West. The A stands for A**

As brutal as this has been to watch, kinda like trying to pull a sliver, we are a win away from first place. Last year I was often SMH at this team and we were a game away from the World Series (were always a game away). Baseball is just not a linear game, it’s not like football. You could look like a different team every other day. I feel like if the M’s can dig in now and start winning dirty we could get right back to that precipice again. Let’s go M’s

Well, this isn't a really good team, yet. I suspect when they get a HEALTHY Cal and a HEALTHY Donovan, this team actually hits their stride.

Six run lead should be safe. Doubt we'll fall behind before the Mariners magical pitch limit for starters of 90.

????? 6 Scoreless innings. Seems pretty damn good to me. Nice to see some actual good defense behind him. What every pitcher needs. Again.........6 innings, NO RUNS, 6 strikeouts.

Not trying to argue, but how can you not be stoked with that outing?

Also, have a day, JP. Dayum

Starting pitching has been phenomenal in this series. Against THIS offense? So good to see.
