Just a heads up, I work at an auction house (I'll post a link at the bottom of the thread) in Lacey (WA), and one of our regular consignors (from my understanding he owns a sports/card shop) brought in a lot of great Seattle items. I wanted to put the word out because I feel like some of you might be interested in some of the stuff he dropped off.
A nice handful of autographed Jerseys, Photographs, Balls, etc. I know my wife found some Dave Krieg signed items, a Cortez Kennedy signed jersey, signed Steve Largent photos, a bunch of Mariner's signed balls (Felix, Edgar, and a bunch of others), etc. There's a lot of other sports items aswell, not just Seattle based things.
Some of it does come with a COA, others don't. I did my best to make sure the autos without them were legit. I have no reason to believe the consignor or his business would have fake/falsified items. Still, I encourage you to use your best judgement. It's not a ton of stuff, but there are some cool things going up. Figured I would throw this out there before the auction goes live, just incase there is someone that wanted to jump in on it.
Some info about the auction before hand.
You will need to sign up on our website to bid, have a valid CC on file (as the winning bidders are charged when the auction ends), they run for 6 days (TUES to the folloeijg TUES and THURS to the followijg THURS), all bids start at 10.00usd, there is a buyers premium and tax that is added onto the final bid (so factor this into how much you want to spend as to not get caught offguard after the fact).
You can set a max bid as a placeholder for how high your willing to go. As others bid, the price goes up until your max is met, if it isn't met, you pay where that bidder quit. Bids are incremental, so it goes up a few bucks every bid, once it reaches a certain point the minimum bid amount also increase. I'm not sure where thr bid increases are (I just get the items ready, and any bidding I do my wife handles it, lol).
Winning bidders will be notified via e-mail, so make sure you have an up to date e-mail, and our messages don't get sent to your spam folder.
There is a 3-day pick up window for winning bidders after the end of the auction. We do allow bidders up to two weeks to come get items, but after that the item is deemed abandoned and will be resold without a refund. We do send out heads-up notices if you haven't come to get an item on time, just incase you forgot you won or you just didn't get the initial winning bidder notifocation.
It's rare people don't pickup items beyond two weeks, but we just don't have enough space to hold into items any longer than that.
We do offer shipping, and any items that you want shipped you'll have to let us know after the auction, you just have to pay the shipping for the items.
Any other questions can be addressed by phone/e-mail, or found on our website. You cam always drop a comment in here or DM me and I can ask my wife, she knows all the inner workings WAY better than I do.
Have fun, and if your interested in something, I hope you get a screaming deal on it. If you are interested, sign up as soon as possible. Read our terms of service, check out the FAQs, get your questions in, you'll only have 6 days to get bids in starting Friday May 22.
Here's the link to our website, the Auction with the goods won't be posted until Friday afternoon, usually by 3:00pm Western.
I'll be sure to post another link to the auction with the Seattle memorabilia as soon as it goes live.
