I have a son that is now one year sober after having trouble with booze and drugs.
He is now on a millwright apprenticeship after less than a year.
The company and the union approached him and asked if he would be open to talking with any other employee that has trouble with addiction.
Not as an actual counsellor, but to show them what they could achieve if they put their mind to it.

So I , myself think if Nacua admits he has a problem that he is willing to address, I applaud what he is doing.

Maybe cut the guy a little slack, you don't know what someone else's demons are.
That's great news about your son and yes you're right . We should give puka some slack.

Except he's a ******* ram.

It seems to me that Nacua may have a personality issue at the root, with a potential for amplification by substances. If PN sought rehab because he was able to identify an actual abuse problem and really wants to beat it, he certainly can. If PN entered rehab on the advice of his attorney, agent or other influence just for appearances it has a much lower chance of helping and in fact will eventually rear its ugliness later. I really hope it helps and is not just used as tool to enhance his $$$$ and protect him from liability. We will see.

Hopefully he actually takes this seriously. With this guy, I'll believe it when I see it. Incredible player, but man he is out of hand. He just feeds my dislike for the Rams. But for his sake, he needs to get this under control or something very bad is gonna' happen. Not a path to be going down. Also, not to sound insensitive, but this also feels like a PR stunt. Hopefully this is legit, but I wouldn't be surprised either way. This is the same guy who claimed concussions don't exist.

He’s in good company - spending his days working out with Kupp.

And Robert Woods is back in the house.

Let's be real here, Soul :

It's ALWAYS a PR stunt.

I doubt he went to the team and said "Listen. I have a problem that I need to fix / work on".

This smacks of the team demanding him to do this just for the OPTICS.

Kupp lives in LA. He kept his home in Thousand Oaks and has been working out with Rams players during the off season at their regular gym.

Has nothing to do with playing for the Seahawks or Rams.

I am happy to see Nacua maintaining his friendship with Kupp, and Robert Woods back around is good for them all too. (Kupp’s original WR teammate and mentor).

Good all around.

I disagree.

Dude is doing what he should be doing.

But, smack him down as you wish.

For his sake, hopefully he gets this under control. He's on a bad path, like really bad. I can't stand the guy, but I don't want him wrapping himself around a tree or hurting someone else either. Phenomenal football player, I will never deny that. But dude seems very unhinged, imo.

Was.

Unless I see something recent, the previous path seems to be getting addressed and handled.

Fair enough. I'll believe it when I see it, that's all. I just have a hard time taking a guy seriously who claims that concussions are not real. Or who talks smack about Sam Darnold while Sam Darnold is winning the SB. Or who's biting off shoulders

I don't like him, but I'm also not pulling for him to fail in this alcohol battle. I wouldn't wish that on the guy. On the field, absolutely. Off the field, nah. Even a Rams fan has to admit dude is out of control much of the time.

Now, coach McCrybaby whining all off season, THAT is delish.
This rivalry is fun. NFL football is more fun when you have good rivalries. Hating the Rams and Niners makes it more fun. All 3 of these teams hate each other, love it.

Hopefully he is serious, hate him because he is so good and on the Rams, but respect his ability, would not want to see him end up like Brown or Lawrence.
