Apologies for beating the proverbial dead horse here. There’s a lot of rumors going around…some such as Breece Hall wants to be a Seahawk. Or, JS is going to roll as is (loves Holani, Emmanuel Wilson, etc). Kmac is ready to go…

Every draft prediction (RB) wise, I see Price or Washington going to us.

Typical stuff…rumors are rumors.

Also heard that it wasn’t necessarily the $$ that stopped us from re-signing K9 but that he was not happy splitting carries (which I absolutely love us doing….extends their availability, gives different looks, etc.).

I’m not exactly comfortable with our RB room as it stands. There’s a lot of uncertainty.

We still have a championship caliber team. Do we roll the dice on a rookie and current RB stable knowing Charb is coming back? Can Charb actually be #1? I always see folks saying K9 split carries and that was a key factor later on but, we have to say the same about Charb.

We’re in a ‘window’ here. Truly think we need to keep striking while the irons hot.

With that in mind, I see us going after Hall or Achane really hard come draft day. Miami said Achane is off limits but..things tend to change course on draft day.

If JS cant make that happen, it’s Washington as a later round pick.

**You can make more than one selection..I can’t edit the poll options (goofed when I posted..my bad).

In my opinion, the possible Jadarian Price selection is starting to shape up like the Gray Zabel selection.

So much smoke behind this one. The last few seasons, we can sort of follow the trail and it leads to the player.

Per Brady Henderson, the Seahawks had talks of possibly trading down from #18 last year and felt like Zabel could still be there. They couldn't get it done, stayed at the native pick and selected their dude.

Price might be the RB they like. He's buttoned-up, 1 school dude, fits the team/need/offense. They didn't bring him in because he has high character and they probably know everything about him. They could have every intention to trade down. However, a trade might never be reached.

It's going to be polarizing if it happens. It's probably going to split the fan-base. I still think it makes sense.

At this point unless something unbeknownst to us were dealing with a 10cent back and who cares.

This team could run it back. It’ll be interesting to see which way they pivot come draft day.

I didn't see anything in the 2025 preseason games from the RBs that didn't make the roster to suggest that they would make the roster a year later. I don't think the Seahawks are fully committed to Charbonnet, Wilson, Holani, McIntosh, and Ouzts. I think they'll add competition with 2 RBs using negligible Draft capital and/or as UDFAs. May the best 4 win out. I don't foresee any RB trades or high picks coming in. Just an outsider opinion of a championship roster.

Later edit: I originally clicked on Other rook but changed to both Late round pick & Other rook after the poll edit.

I really think losing Bryant & Woolen left the biggest hole in our offseason and for this defense to be at peak performance we need at least one replacement. Luckily this draft has some good ones but I don't think the availability risk is worth waiting for the 2nd pick.
JSN paid, Spoon & others soon to be addressed, we've got to keep that talent pipeline flowing and I don't see Price in that lense.

A risky overkill Price grab, Wilson, Holani & McIntosh or whoever can handle duties until Charbs returns. Then we will know what we have and JS might snag another RB along the way. Wait until the 27' draft to find another RB or select a RB in a later round if they identify one.

Take advantage of this drafts strengths, don't reach in a weak area. Honestly Price is not my kind of RB to use a high pick on and commiting carries and getting production could be a tricky thing.
MM knows defense and proved it wins championships, don't stop shoveling coal and keep that locomotive barreling down the tracks.

Didn't the Seahawks, start Charbs, and rather quickly replaced him with K9? I don't think anyone worries about Charb. I think Defenses will charge ears pinned without much thought to Charbs. K9 can win games, Charbs not so much. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think so. I'd sure like to see a healthy Kenny Mac. perhaps HOlani as well.

I put other. I have a sneaky suspicion they really like Jonah Coleman and he can be had day 2. Everything about him on and off the field screams Seahawk

Price

* Fumbled near the goal line three times in 2025, losing two.

* Average acceleration and top end speed.

* Contact power on the second level is average.

* Eludes with cuts but has average wiggle in tight spaces.

* Lacks dynamic production on third downs.

* Suffered left achilles rupture in 2022.

* Measured just 203 pounds at the combine dropping 7 lbs from his listed weight.

* Pass protection grades hover lower than average and needs refinement in technique and recognition to earn 3rd down snaps.

* Limited sample size as feature back remains biggest question mark, only 8 carries per game over two seasons

* Occasionally dances behind line rather than hitting designated holes when his initial read gets muddy.

* Workload worry over injuries and lighter frame.

* Production context raises fair questions over splash plays and ND schemes.

* Not a short yardage runner and needs work to be a 3rd down back.

* Was a backup RB on his own team and is not on team mate Love's level.

Going to be really funny if he gets drafted to the Seahawks...

Trade out of first round... Grab further Picks, Washington or Coleman, after snagging the best CB/S unless they are already there and no good value to trade back comes available.. go with second best CB/S then. DE, RB late 2nd/3rd

I dunno.. Im completely wrong and I have ZERO idea whats going down. Im actually, excited about this draft because.. there isn't a solid pick outside of 15 IMO

We saved $3M annually to give Sam Darnold no run game. Schneider better pull some draft day bullshit or we played ourselves. WE NEED A RUN GAME.
The narrative all year is the offense is based off the run game.. IDK

First round. Love (go big or go home) or more likely, Price.

You never know how a RB will return after an injury. That being said, Charbs might just dominate when he is the main option. However you can't bank on a recovery, go out and get the meanest, toughest, fastest RB available

Charbs is on the last year of his rookie deal anyway. Need to restock the cupboards.

I just hope they don't force anything. We need good starters from the draft, at any position, that's how you keep the machine turning. Hopefully BPA and position line up close enough somewhere in the draft.

Deep draft for running backs.

Nick Singleton. 55 tds career.

If I know of John he is planning Chip at 188.
5"11 233lbs 4.39 40. Feldman Freak List.

Earlier in the draft we can get cb, safety and edge we like. We trade down even better. Then we get a guard and linebacker plus Chip. 🍿
