I know you are as big of a Blazers fan as I am. Let me ask you a question, my buddy and I discussed this for quite a while last night.
1) Does Splitter deserve another year ?
2) whats Dames role next year?
3) Who do we let go from this current group
4) Yang Hansen? Complete bust or too soon to tell?
Cheers brotha and goooo Blazers
There are now two of us!
1.The roster fluctuated with injuries.
2. Do we really know what we have?
Cling Kong should play regular starter minutes. He is the high upside center. The Time Lord should get the remaining minutes. Robert is fragile but a great talent. Yang should stay in the G league for a larg amount of time lest we get a decent offer for him. Most importantly Regular intervals bring rhythm and skills to the forefront.
Denji Avila is the newest star to grace the Blazers. Great all around game. Love his drives to the basket. He pairs really well Jrue. The two are game facilitators. Yet how many days were they injured? Availability needs to be achieved.
We have developing guys that are coming into their own defensively.
We have some very athletic guards developing. With that Dame is coming back.
A coach controls substitutions. I would like to see better time out management. Time outs stop momentum and give coaches chance to work to stop defensive lapses
Rick Aldeman; you want the 5 best players on the floor. At the same time identifying the Hot shooter so you can ride him. The poor shooter so you can sit him.
Splitter is better than we had. I think identifying our own strengths is better than overthinking matchup basket ball. Regular minutes and rythems make players. Like Dundon said we need to strengthen professionalism and get consistency. Vets do that.
I would get rid of Grant. Contract is huge. Not playing to his contract. Scoot cannot shoot 39% on most nights.
That's what I got for the moment.
