Agreed!! I was feeling this fairly early last season…that, even being a new head coach, MM was already one of the best in the league.

Never have I ever thought that we would exorcise the demons of XLIX. Not only did we beat NE, we did it on Santa Clara's turf. Every Hawk's game since that loss, there's been a little nugget in the back of my memory. Now it's 100% gone.

Proud to have that guy under center. Total class. Total team guy. And the narrative about him was ridiculous, imo. He was $ in the playoffs. Shoot, NFC Championship was the best game he ever played. And we needed it.
He had one playoff game his entire career. The media tried so hard to make him out as some choker who can't win a big game.

Coaching matters. The adjustments he made after all those turnovers, very impressive. Clearly, the coaching staff coached that out of him. Be smart, don't force anything, live for another play. Very humble guy too.
