Depending on what they do during free agency this year, so far they could get a pretty good haul for 2027.

I'm pretty sure you are posting comp picks for this upcoming draft of 2026.
Next years comp picks are going to be based off this free agent signings which will almost certainly net the Seahawks multiple comp picks depending on who we sign and when we sign them.

Look at SF and Philly cleaning up on comp picks. It'll be all Seattle in 2027

And all we got was that shiny Lombardi thing. (Oh, and I do mean ALL, three each 3rd round comp picks AND that shiny Lombardi thing)

Oh, and one more thing... Lombardi >>> Lamborghini

for 2027

Seahawks' current projected 2027 compensatory picks (3)

  • 2027 4th-round pick (Mafe)
  • 2027 5th-round pick (Walker)
  • 2027 5th-round pick (Bryant)

Seahawks' projected overall 2027 draft selections (11)

  • 2027 1st-round pick
  • 2027 2nd-round pick
  • 2027 3rd-round pick
  • 2027 4th-round pick
  • 2027 4th-round pick (Mafe)
  • 2027 5th-round pick
  • 2027 5th-round pick (Walker)
  • 2027 5th-round pick (Bryant)
  • 2027 6th-round pick
  • 2027 7th-round pick
  • 2027 7th-round pick
The Seahawks will be eligible for a fourth compensatory pick if Woolen signs a big deal elsewhere. He's the last one remaining of the 2022 class that doesn't have a new landing spot so far.

That might shift a bit if we pick up a couple of FAs this spring. But we're probably not gonna get any "high value" players that would affect it a lot. JS treasures his comp picks for sure.

This year’s draft is ass tbh. Next year however is a completely different story. Don’t get me wrong there’s always a diamond in the rough but we already have the talent to run it back as is. I guarantee they draft a running back

Just heard on 710 that as of right now, the Hawks have 12 picks in the 2027 draft. I'm sure it'll end up being less than that, but dayum. Could be a hell of a fun 2027 draft.

If we start with 12, there will probably be some wheelin' and dealin' going on. :)

In a perfect world, rounds 3 to 5 is the bulk. That has been JS's wheelhouse for years.

That's why it wouldn't surprise me to see him deal #32 away this year. Grab a couple in that 3-5 range. (y)

No doubt. The difference in this draft between pick 32 and 65 is probably not huge. At least that's what I'm hearing from guys like Daniel Jeremiah.

One school of thought (mine ;)) is that picks after about 25 or so are basically 2d round picks anyway. 🤷‍♂️

65 is a bit of a reach, maybe, but IMO fans tend to overvalue what actual round players are selected. Granted, though, that the 5th year option on 1st round picks is a significant factor. It's just not overriding in my mind.

Yeah, just kind of going by how he was talking about that draft. I'd think more like the difference between 32 and 50 isn't a lot.
Really hoping we trade down at 32, that's basically a 2nd round pick. And the way there's almost always 1st round talent left going into day 2, all it takes is one team who sees a guy available at 32......and boom, John adds a couple picks.

Unless they get Hendrickson 🤯
This situation certainly bears watching as I'm sure JS is doing just that.

The longer he goes without being signed, the better the chances of JS making one hell of a master-stroke-of-a-move here.
