We saw multiple games lost in the playoffs by coaches going for it when 3 points was the difference. Now the Patriots need to score 2 TD PLUS a 2 PT conversion when they haven't looked close to scoring on anything other than a single inch perfectly play.

For me - points win games, not analytics!

Damn analytics, just a way to dump responsibility when you mess up your choice: But analytics said to go for it…

Sometimes you take the points. You lose the battle, but you win the war.

I love that MM is not a slave to analytics
The thing that drives me up a wall about offensive coaches, they manage the game like most casual Madden players, "Punting & FG's aren't exciting, so I'm gonna go for it on 4th down!" 🤓

Analytics can be very useful, but they don't necessarily take into consideration things like actual game situation, field position and trends in the actual game you're playing. With how well our defense was playing Sunday, there was no need to try to force TDs when FGs were winning the game. Our defense shifts the risk/reward profile a ton.

And when you have a kicker that can outscore their entire offense...well, 'take the points' is kind of a no brainer.
