Let’s be fair. Yes we are feeling ourselves rightfully so. Dark Side gonna whoop dat ass.

Right?

Hold on. The Patriots have a Top 5 defense. They too, finished the season 14-3. Sure, we can argue strength of schedule which is fair, but this team and this coach is no slouch.

Drake Maye has been a wonder. Scary good at times. Let’s not pretend this game is going to be a blow out. It will likely be closer than any of us want it to be.

Naw, just kidding, we smoking these fools.

Walker is going to run allover them. They think they have a good run defense, but if you really look at it, they were absolute trash against the run week 9-17 allowing 452 yards before contact (31st in the league). Walker will thrive against them since he is absolutely incredible once he gets to the second level. But somehow now they think they are elite against the run after playing a few garbage running backs and one dimensional teams.

My favorite line from Pats fans is that they some how need to push the fact they are 9-0 on the Road and they are basically looking at this game as a Road game. Yet they don’t realize or overlook the fact the Seahawks are 15-2 (7-1, 8-1, both losses to divisional opponents) on the Road in the last 2 years.

McDonald’s D just has been more steady, more effective on the road probably because communication is vital. And it’s probably easier to stay focused and in the moment when you aren’t living and dying with your crowd.

OMG is it sunday yet?! :)

REALISTICALLY. Separately from the 'we all that' and 'they are paper tigers'.

We made it out of the NFC west. We went through a buzz saw. Week. After. Week. After. Week. After. Week.

Nothing the AFC had this season compared to it. Texans? Child please. Broncos. OMG. Patriots VS Broncos? Delusions of adequacy.

Maye=the new Purdy. We get it. He's the golden child. He's amazing. He's underrated. He's overlooked. Etc. Etc. Apparently every single year, FOX talking heads need a clean shaven rookie corn-fed boy to jerk off to.

In every metric that I can see. We got this by 14 points. Refs aside. FOX talking heads aside. MSM and clickbait troll boys aside.

Ya. Get it. They're not gonna roll over. That doesn't mean that they know what's coming. Aside from Riq, we're a devastating force.

Need more coffee, and need this week to get to Sunday so the mediots can STFU. Ooof. It's monday. Time to go to work.

EDIT: and, oh yea. We set a league record for the most wins against teams that are 12 wins or better for the season. A record. So maybe after we decimate the damn Patriots, Kraft can get them a group rate on handjobs at the Orchid Spa to recover :)

49 Revenge is going to be sweet.

Why in the world would anyone assume a team in the SB is just gonna' lay down? They'll put up a hell of a fight.
Still think the Hawks win by double digits, but I'm not assuming a blowout.

What’s the comparison strength of schedule between these two teams? In my opinions, last week was the two best teams playing.

Actual/Played SOS During the 2025 Season

As the season progressed and final records emerged, the Patriots’ schedule proved to be one of the easiest in the league (and historically weak in some analyses):

• Multiple sources describe it as the easiest or near-easiest, with opponent win percentages as low as ~.356–.391 in mid-to-late season recaps.

• They faced weaker opponents overall, contributing to debates about the legitimacy of their strong record (e.g., 14-3 or similar in reports).

The Seahawks’ SOS ended up much tougher in comparison:

• They ranked significantly higher in difficulty (e.g., top-5 in some adjusted power ratings for SOS, around 4th in one system with a positive rating like +1.6).

• NFC West teams (including Seattle) were generally middle-of-the-pack to harder, but the Seahawks faced stronger competition relative to the Patriots.

In summary:

• The Patriots had a substantially easier strength of schedule than the Seahawks in 2025 — often by a wide margin, especially when accounting for actual opponent performance during the season.

• This gap was frequently cited in discussions (e.g., Super Bowl previews or record critiques), with the Seahawks’ tougher slate seen as bolstering their performance edge in head-to-head or comparative analyses.

The Vegas line makes me nervous. It's going to be a closer game than we would like it to be.

I totally feel like Vrabel will have his guys motivated and prepared. That being said, the Seahawks have been playing playoff games since week 16 and could not afford to lose a single one of those games in the process. Stats do not win football games and NE is a well rounded team. NE still going to give up that ass like a hooker in Detroit during August.

Pats D had impact to push Stroud to poor play and Darnold isn't immune. I recently read somewhere that Darnold had one of the highest splits from good/bad play when pressured/not-pressured. The OL will need to play well and again, they've got a few issues at times. There's a path to this game being close.

If the momentum starts toward Seattle, it'll be a historic blow out. If momentum starts with the Pats, it will probably take 1/2-time adjustments and 60 minutes of determination but still a Seahawks win.

...my 2 cents.
