What crown? Back to back 14 win seasons? I don’t think he will get it.
I think he's referring to the crown of being an Interception machine.

Sam has long since thrown that crown into the garbage but I think Stroud retrieved it from the trash and put it on his head.

Quick passes will neutralize an aggressive rushing defense.

Damn. They had 164 rushing last week. Only a handful of yards thus far.

Our Running attack would give the Patriots trouble.

He's coming up small.

Maybe he'll be mocked like Sam was and be reminded night and day about losing a playoff game.

Probably not, since he’s the youngest QB to ever win a playoff game, and tied the rookie passing touchdown record. And it didn’t take him 6 years to make the playoffs, only to shit the bed when he did. But we can hope.

Kind of like it took Matthew Stafford 13 years to make the playoffs only to shit the bed THREE TIMES before winning his first playoff game.

It took Peyton Manning 4 tries before winning his first.

Sam? It took him 2 tries.

And Stafford and Manning rightfully had the same reputation of being chokers who were phenomenal QBs in the regular seasons but came up short in the playoffs, right up until they didn’t. Why should Sam be treated any differently?

Had Sam kept up the pace he was on earlier in the season, he might have turned around his rep in one season. A big win, and a Lombardi would do the same. Otherwise, it will take another year or two of success.

It takes longer to change a reputation than to build it.

Anyway. Back to Stroud and the Texans. He may lose the rep he had early on, but I don’t think it will be from one sloppy game where neither team can hold on to the ball.

Stroud's passes don't have enough zip to them.

He lofts them.

I feel bad for the Texas D. (Don't agree they are as good as the Hawk D. But I think they are closest to us)

But my god. The Texas OC is a moron.
Literally takes the worst approach in whatever game I see.
Plays that demand a pass? Run. Plays where a run makes more sense? Pass.
Unless it is crazy 3rd down yardage where a pass makes the only sense, or crazy short yardage (even then sometimes) he seems to do the opposite of whatever makes sense.

That just kills momentum.
His QB is shaky and not incredibly accurate but the playcalling isn't helping.

Instead of taking the easier path...he really wants to swim upstream for no viable reason.

Play calls have been bad.

He’s calling plays trying to beat the pats, but he’s not calling plays that will help his QB beat the pats.
Fine line difference but it’s massively important

And he’s not calling plays to beat the weather.

I really do not want to see the Pats make the SB again. So tired of them. If we play them we will pound them.
