Imma suggest you chill tf out before I send you on a time out. For a “Seahawk” you sure are pro 49er. Way to tilt your hand
Not pro 49er. They just happen to be the team they only managed 13 points against. My opinion is it will take more than that to make it to and win s SB. I do not believe Darnold is the guy that can do it. He might prove me wrong.

This is the second time recently you've threaten me. Is it you cannot handle anyone having a different opinion from yours? How adult of you.

Last I check this is sport of grown men suspending someone simply because you disagree is as lame as the NFL taunting flags.

Who in the playoffs do you think has been hotter than the 49ers as an all-around team? If we can beat them with 13 pts, and the Rams with 38, I'm confused why we cannot win each game with the points needed for that specific game.

You sound as if you think we can and will only score 13 points against every opponent. That's just silly. If you argue we've played better defenses than the 49ers, it can be pointed out that we also scored more points against them! It's a strange way of arguing, especially if our kicker had made the kicks he usually does, we wouldn't be hearing your "only 13 points" whining.

Again, nobody is under the impression that he's "elite", "franchise", "HOFer", etc. He's our current starting QB, and we just won 14 games with him. That being the case, can you describe how you would handle the QB search this offseason? Who are you targeting and how would you get him?

Look I'm not the only one here that has doubts about Darnold. If he proves himself as I've already said I will give him his props. Until then I'm not convinced. I see an issue with making it to the SB if there's even a slight dip in defensive performance because the offense relies on them so much for opportunities. And when given those opportunities many times it ends up being the ST that bailed out the offense because of the lack of offense.

Apparently their are many here including administrators that can't handle anything negative which blows my mind considering this is a forum.

The majority of career backups in the league are backups for a reason.

They finished the season as the #3 scoring offense. And that's with being in the bottom half of the league for yards per carry for the first half of the season, so you can't say they rode the running game to that stat. I don't think you can look at one game or one team and say that those matchups and that game plan indicate the worthiness of the QB. Especially a division rival - divisional games are wonky as heck.

It would be like saying Purdy sucks because he only managed 17 and 3 points in the two games against the Seahawks this year. You'd be ignoring most of his body of work.

How big of you. If he wins the super bowl you'll say you were wrong. Until then nothing is good enough.

It's not that you disagree. It's because you act like a whiny baby, like D.K.
We traded him away and it worked out great.
Maybe we could trade you to the forty whiners and everybody's happy?!?

You're the only one whining like a 5-year-old baby folding his arms. Get over yourself. Go pull for the Rams or Niners.
The fact that you actually think that was equivalent to a 10-point win is beyond hilarious. If you ACTUALLY WATCHED THAT GAME, you would see the Hawks absolutely destroyed them. 2 missed FG's, going for it on 4th down, etc. My god you are worse than Debbie Downer.
Not sure I've ever seen someone so pissed off after a MASSIVE win. All because it didn't look good enough TO YOU. It's beyond pathetic that it would hurt you physically to give ANY credit to Sam. You're on here complaining about games THAT HAVEN'T EVEN HAPPENED YET, FFS.
If they win the SB, you'll just come on here saying that he had NOTHING to do with it. Are you really this miserable? Did Sam pee in your cereal?

They didn't win by 30, Hawks suck. Sam didn't throw 5 touchdown passes, he sucks!

It's one thing to disagree and/or want to talk football. You're acting like a 5-year-old. All because you don't like Sam. This is getting creepy how much you've dug in on your Sam hate.

Congrats.

I mean that's fine, but the NFL's current starting QBs come from the last two decades worth of drafts. Really good starting QBs are hard to find, and "elite" ones almost impossible. Aside, most of the current "elite" QBs aren't currently producing at the level. Only six quarterbacks have won the SB after we got ours in 2013 (Brady, Manning, Mahomes, Stafford, Foles, Hurts). The odds are against every single QB in this year's playoffs winning the SB because only one of them gets to do it.

It just seems like you've set up a "no lose" scenario. If they do defy the odds and win the SB (again, every team in the playoffs has to defy the odds because they're all good teams now), the argument will be that they did it in spite of Darnold. If they don't get to the SB or win it, then he'll get all the blame.

Thing is those IFs are just more the Seahawks are a good team BUT Sam Darnold chokes under pressure or is just unreliable.

14-3 regular season puts the lie to all that BS which is just more continuing Sam dislike.

The games against the last three opponents have all been “Must Win” games which were won.

Some folks just can't accept the team has a solid QB, perhaps not absolutely elite but good enough to be our QB for 14 Ws, the Divisional Crown, and the #1 seed in this year's playoffs.

Believe your negativity Sam doubters but he needs 3 more Ws to be a Super Bowl Champion.

Well I guess it would depend on how they won. I mean if the D got 2 pick 6s and we won by 7, or if we kicked FGs all game and won my view of Darnold would stay the same.

Again your opinion and you're entitled to it. Just because I'm not slobbering all over Sam Darnolds jock doesn't make me wrong. Just the jury us still out.

Again if he proves me wrong I'll be the first to give him props.

Also Again, I don't think the lack of offense is all on Darnold. But I seriously believe if the D loses a step the offense won't be able to overcome it.

Have a nice day

In 2001, the Ravens won the Superbowl with a dominant defense and an average QB, Trent Dilfer.

In 2007, the Chicago Bears went to the Superbowl with Rex Grossman as their QB. The Bears didn't win but Grossman was avg at best. Bears had a very good defense that carried them that season.

In 2017, Eagles won the Superbowl with Nick Foles. Again great defense and avg QB at best. Wentz was their QB in regular season and he was average at best QB too.

I believe Sam Darnold is an above avg QB and better than every one of these guys.
