The thing I think about is, Did he perform the second half of the season just to get hired or did he fail the first half to show he has some gut work to play. Think the scenario has yet to be played.

Damn. I haven’t read that but, he doesn’t strike me as a guy that would stick around..regardless if he wins a SB here or not.

I don’t blame players for dipping. A situation like Geno or Russ? Yah… don’t let the door hit you where the good lord split you on the way out.

DK? No way we were coughing up $30M per. I loved DK but was realistic about his skillset (or, lack thereof).

In a CB hungry league, no way Riq doesn’t get offered $20M+. At times, he seems worth it. As of late, he’s been playing pretty damn good. Someone will bite on a All-Pro CB.

Thankfully, we have the best GM in the bidness…I’m sure there’s contingency plans in place.

i was having this conversation with the wife last night. I think let him test the market and see what he is offered.

With all the trade rumors earlier this season, Riq went to JS and begged him to not trade him. He wants to be a Seahawk. He sure has played well the second half. Might get him for a home discount

Do you have any sources on this? Would be awesome if true, meaning he'd want to stick around and not seek to be the highest paid CB. Just has to stay consistent and avoid dumb taunting penalties
