Macdonald said in his presser today that his injury will take time to heal and they are moving forward not expecting him to play this year.

He also said the Whites injury is also season ending and they don’t expect him back.

Edit to add link

There are some hopeful tidbits in the article as well.
Except he basically reveals what we all suspected regarding Tory Horton :

"We got some clarification on Tory," Macdonald said. "The best way I can describe it is that what he has, it just takes a long time to heal. Put it this way, we're planning on not having him, and if something happens, which we're not counting on, and he's able to come back, then that's great. But right now, we're planning on not having him. He just needs time and rest. It's unfortunate, but these things happen. We're with him, he's doing a great job, we're just not going to have him right now.

"He should be able to have a full offseason. Who knows how things are going to shake out, how long we go and all that, but right now we're not planning on having him. But not a long-term concern."

So he's out for the season. That's what this is saying.

Okay I just had a thought @kidhawk .

When you put down this statement :

Macdonald said in his presser today that his injury will take time to heal and they are moving forward not expecting him to play this year.

Were you referring to Horton here?

If so, then my apologies 'cause I did not know you were referring to him since his name wasn't mentioned.

That’s what I was thinking. What a long winded way to say Tory's out for the season.🤔

Shin splints or a micro fracture? Real bummer but it sounds like Bryant and cross will be back for playoffs. Just leaves arroyo / Holani really as potential returns

Which I like... Holani is a good third back over Akers... Arroyo can stretch the field... we probably havent been using TEs alot simply due to his unavailability once they saw what he could actually do :(

Horton's injury is making the Sheed trade look even better than it already does.
Yeah.

We would not be in a good place without JS making that trade at the deadline.

We certainly wouldn't have won against the Rams without him.
