This is possibly a preemptive move by them to acquire a player and gain information off of him if Seattle needs to go to Carolina again.

Probably.

But it won't do them any good 'cause Bryce Young will simply end up on his back again.

Just before playoffs in a potential rematch, just great.

D’Anthony Bell is the third Seahawks defensive back claimed off waivers this year. I assume it is generated by extensive use of nickle defenses around the league. As a silver lining, it paints a favorable invite for recruitment of defensive back prospects on day 4 of the draft and for free agents thru out the year. The Seahawks are an attractive organization with which to start an NFL career. And, a good place to restart a pathway to getting on the field.
