Went on the road and beat a good team by three possessions. The Panthers may now be 8-8 but dont forget they've been solid this year and even beat the Rams.

Doomers will no doubt try and belittle the team for starting slow and say Sam isn't good, but the fact is we took care of business on the road on a day where we were playing the refs as well as the Panthers.

The officiating was horrificly lopsided and it was all against us. Some of the first half calls were absolutely baffling (phantom PI, bad spots, multiple missed personal fouls).

Seattle did what they needed to and there's nothing to complain about. They had to beat a winning team today to take care of business and keep control of the fate of the 1 seed and the division. Beat the Whiners next week and nothing else matters.

Did I mention we got out unscathed on the injury front?

13 wins and the #1 seed going into the seasons final week. Better than most of us could ever have imagined.

There's always things that can be cleaned up but for such a wonderful season let's try and focus on the positives. There's a lot of them.

Absolutely, this wasn't an easy out.

Is Shaheed OK, though? I thought he entered concussion protocol.
Yeah not sure on his status but he'll most definitely be back for the playoffs which is what matters.

Hoping Shaheed will be OK, and that we get Cross back for the big showdown next week...

Darnold was under relentless pressure most of the game, and every time he drops back, I'm biting my nails. Honestly wish he would just use his legs and run more, even if it's for 3 or 4 yards, the goal would be to get to 3rd and manageable...

Yep hoping Shaheed is ok next week. But should be available for the playoffs regardless

Our defense is something we all need to really appreciate. They aren't just good. They aren't even just elite. They are truly special.

Good to see the ground game get going. We are going to need it moving forward
Yep loved seeing Charbs rack it up. When they are on, this team can dominate every phase

I love Rasheed and hope he is back next week, but if he isn't and Tory Horton is available, it would be fairy tale worthy...

Very impressive to come off the emotional Rams game, know that you have the 49ers next week, have Christmas on Thursday, then fly across the country to play a pretty good team fighting for their lives. I was worried heading into this because of all of the above.

Slammed the door on those fools. 24 points in the second half, domination.

Can't wait for SC with their 1 pressure a game defense and weak @$$ interior DL.

Die hard fans will always nitpick, not becasue we are negative per se, but becasue we have so much emotional investment in our team.

It’s easy to extrapolate our mistakes in the current game to future games against better opponents. So yeah, I’m worried about first halves like this against upper echelon teams.

That said, huge win in a textbook trap game. Plus, we did it without Cross, Hall, and (mostly) Shaheed. I also didn’t notice any big injuries that should affect us moving forward.

The Panthers are a playoff team (I think they'll beat the Bucs next week) playing for their playoff lives. This is a quality win however you slice it.
The Buccaneers were a good team earlier in the season, but not now. They started 6-2 and have gone 1-7 since then.

I tried to get through all of your thoughts but your avatar got in the way.

There it is again. Wait, what was I saying?

There's a decent chance we end up back in Carolina in two weeks, so today's result bodes well. With YosemINT Sam under center in a game for the division, we're probably going to get blasted by the Niners next week, and I don't trust Tampa to win anything right now, so Seattle @ Carolina in the 4 vs 5 game is highly possible. I think we lose the tiebreaker to the Rams though, so maybe it'd be @ Philly instead.

For the Seahawks to be the #5 seed they'd have to lose in San Francisco and have the Rams lose at least 1 of their final 2 games. It's possible, but I don't see the Rams losing either game.

Beat the refs and the Panthers by 3 scores at 10am. It's almost a better feeling to overcome horrible officiating and a team taking cheap shots. Seems like they tried their best to steer the game then it just got away from them

So is it a decent chance or highly possible? ;)

I do agree we can’t count on never before seen aberrations like the 2 point conversion to beat the Niners.

Horn dropped the easiest pick 6 he will ever see in his career. The deflection off Kupp could have been another (though not on Sam). I agree with you @Rat that if Sam has more than 2 turnovers, we will get beat. Turnovers eventually catch up to you regardless of the defense.

That said, we won’t get ‘blasted’ by anyone.
