Yes, because we're one game up on them should we beat the 49ers; and San Fran will be tied with them if they beat us, and hold the tie-breaker. Right?

Yeah. I mean you two know what the actual "Trap game" for the Hawks was?

The COLTS game where they obviously were looking ahead to the Rams game....

.....AND STILL WON.

Panthers, to me, as improved as they've gotten from earlier in the season (congrats to them being the Division leaders), they are still in that tier of teams (earlier in the season) that the Hawks should (and will) beat.

Some here say it will be a tough game.

But for my part, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say this game will end up being far more easy of a game for the Hawks than the Rams game. :sneaky:
When will we find out?

I'm still trying to figure out why it's not alarming to everyone else that the same defense that utterly shut down the Seahawks offense, allowing ZERO touchdowns in the game, just got curb-stomped on national TV by the 49ers to the tune of 48 points, with Purdy throwing five TD passes in the game.

Because that Niners Defense just gave up 27 points to a 44-year-old Grandpa with no arm strength. 😂

That's why.

In fact, it should've been 34 points if Grandpa didn't throw that pick.

Bottom line is that they have no PASS-RUSH.

Bosa was their Pass-rush (which was one of the reasons they won in Week 1)

And what gives Darnold trouble? Pressure.

This is why I'm not sweating the Niners.

Sam is going to have plenty of time in the pocket to make plays.

And unlike Rivers, he will have the arm strength to make those chunk plays to help the Hawks score a ton of points.

And unlike the Colts D that didn't show up, Seattle's D will shut them down (again).

If Seattle and SF both win week 17. The week 18 match up will be SNF for the 1 seed
Would we be SNF if there is also a game where the winner makes the playoff loser goes home, that is quite likely to be the case for Panthers @ Buccs?

As confident (hopefull) as I am, the game against Indy proved that we can't go to Carolina w/ a lame gameplan. And Sam Darnold has to be locked in or we can get caught slippin' by a fiesty team like the Panthers and get embarrassed.

I mean the NFL can put the Cowboys there if they want so anything can happen but I can’t think of a better scenario than putting two NFC top contenders against each other for the division and number 1 seed.

Still an outshot shot that there could be a Steelers Ravens winner take all game too but that's not as likely after last weekend's games.

Panthers could be looking at a let down coming off a big win vs a division winner too. Whose bigger revenge game will this be? Sam Darnold? Or Mike Jackson? :)

I have not tried it yet. Is it good?

There’s a small distillery in Walla Walla called Cedar Rain. They make a cinnamon vodka, similar to Fireball but very clean and without the sticky syrup mouth feel. Great flavor.

I like to mix the Cedar Rain Cinnamon Vodka with Ryan’s Apple Cider. Goes down quickly!
Not to steer this thread off topic, but heck yes, bro — Cedar Rain is fantastic! I feel like their spirits paired with their BBQ might be the most underrated/affordable combo available on Main Street WW.

On topic: As a fan I'm not sweating Sunday's matchup at all. In my opinion, the Hawks under Macdonald have mastered the Eastern time zone "early" (to us) game as well as the "must-win" game.

The bad news for me in the UK is the panthers game is on sky, which means it is blacklisted on DAZN, I will have to just watch red zone or try and keep away from the results and watch it on a 24hr delay.

Do they offer FUBO or Direct Tv in UK?
