6 Seahawks named Pro Bowlers

The game itself is a joke, but being named to it is not. It's also an indication of how good the team is. In the last couple of years, we've had 3 players picked for the Pro Bowl.

Yeah, years ago, the Pro Bowl game was very entertaining. Saying it's a joke now is giving the contest way too much credit.

And yes, it a fairly decent barometer of how our team is progressing, and players like being named to it as not only can it trigger a clause in their contracts, it's also a feather in the cap to those with HOF aspirations.

Love that Darnold gets a Pro-Bowl for the 2nd year in a row.

I can still remember The College All Star game (severely dating myself LOL) when the NFL champions played a college all star squad in late summer in Chicago before start of the season. I actually went to one of the games as a little kid, my dad taking me to Soldier Field for the game against the Jets. I was a Namath fan. It was a very personal event way back then, and an opportunity to meet a bunch of players. The game was *somewhat* of a precursor to the Pro Bowl originating in 1934 and ending in 1976.

Julian Love was a Pro Bowl selection in 2024, he obviously wasn't going to be selected this year being out for so long with an injury.

I don't get people here pushing for Grey Zabel to be in the Pro Bowl. He's had a solid year, but in no way is he playing at an elite level yet.
