These are from NFL.com. Feel free to post others. I’m sure there has to be some that think the rams are still number 1

I usually just post the top 5 but went further to get our division rivals (no not Cardinals far)

1. Seahawks
2. Patriots
3. Bills
4. Broncos
5. Jaguars
6. Bears
7. 49ers
8. Rams

lol at SI:

"I get the frustration from Seahawks fans here, but I think there were so many odd conditions that occurred in succession to help the victory materialize. That said, it shouldn’t take away from the meaning of this win, which is incredibly significant and propelling as we get into the postseason."

What the Seahawks accomplished in the final 10 minutes of regulation and OT was no less relevant or more flukey than what the Rams accomplished in the first 3 quarters. There is ZERO reason for the Rams to be above the Seahawks this week. You could make a reasonable (though incorrect in my opinion) argument that the 49ers are above the Rams as they control their destiny at this point and the Rams no longer do. But as I stated above, the most reasonable ranking is Seahawks at 1 and Rams at 2.

Rams Seahawks should just be tied at #1.

What a season boys.
They are pretty even as teams go right now it would seem. But the Seahawks should definitely be above the Rams at this point, no ties. The Seahawks control their own destiny, the Rams do not. This, along with the game just played, gives the Seahawks the edge in fictional rankings.

I see these rankings, but when I listen to and read what various higher profile pundits have to say, many still show skepticism about the Hawks, see the Rams as the better team, some even doubting that moving forward and into the playoffs, the 9ers and even the Eagles might be better bets than us. This is just what I'm hearing poking around out there, that a lot of skepticism remains about us.

Honestly, Rams plummeting is bullshit. You lose a hard-fought battle by 1 point in OT between quite possibly the best two teams in the NFL and you drop to 8? This list should have been 1 Seahawks, 2 Rams, 3-32 nobody really cares.
Agree

Although I like being on top, and enjoy seeing the Rams drop, this is proof positive that these rankings mean absolutely nothing.

Eff the Rams but they are mostly certainly top 5 if not top 3

This thread is gold. Bunch of Seahawks fans bitching about the Rams being ranked too low. And even though I agree completely, you have to admit it’s just great that it is the discussion on a Seahawks board.
If you want to be seen as reasonable, you have to actually be reasonable.

Disclaimer: My wife is a Rams fan and may be negatively impacting my hate for the Rams.

I think he got caught between "compelling as we get in to the postseason" and "will propel them in to the postseason,"

Maybe the author was considering that the Rams offense struggled 3.2 yards per rush, and without Seattle's 3 turnovers, would have been outscored by a big margin. Or the visual of winning the turnover battle by 3, and still losing...

Just a thought...

I see your point but the Rams were up 16 with 8 min left and COMPLETELY dropped the ball. If it had been more of a tight score going into the 4th the Rams would be number 2.
