I was never a big ND fan. What does R Mills bring to the DL? Who are his comps?

Well I used Google AI and asked for his comp and this is what it gave me :

Rylie Mills's "comp" (comparable player) varies, but analysts often mention Zack Allen (Denver Broncos) for his quick power and movement, J.J. Watt for raw traits (though less explosive), and John Cominsky (Detroit Lions) for similar size/athleticism for a rotational role. He's seen as a versatile DL with disruptive pass-rush potential, fitting a rotational/pass-rush specialist role like Allen or Cominsky, aiming for the impact of someone like Leonard Williams in versatility, says this source.

In his limited snaps I have noticed him penetrating into the backfield to disrupt a couple of runs

He's also made mistakes; I expect that from a rookie who
has gotten a late start, he's been thrown into the fire to
speak but he's only going to get better from it and I think
we will see the results more so next season.

I can't wait to see what Macdonald does with this kid, of course he's going to need to hit the weight room, but that's a given for all rookies coming into the pro's.
Mills has a great get-off and with MM coaching some intricate details, I think he's going to become a pretty special addition.

He was active over Pili. I like Pili in on run defense. Rams got way too many rush yards in this game.

I was surprised by the totals. Williams went 23/70/3.0 AV and Corum was 14/48/3.4 AV. Sure would have guessed it was worse than that after seemingly so many chunk runs early.

Yeah MM made adjustments in the second half. It's why he's a great coach.

Of course. I remember one highlight where the G/C combo knocked him out of the A gap, but he recovered enough to make the RB move to the right and let the LBs have at him.

I’ll keep banging on about his upside. I think he has a splash play in a playoff / week 18 game.
