Then they would lose one of Adams and Nacua for sure. Can't pay everybody their top value.
unless they go the san fran route and somehow bribe the NFL to look the other way while they blow the cap out of the water.

(it's a joke, whiner fans. just a joke)

I think Davante Adams would take a paycut.

Adams, has already been the highest paid WR/best WR in this league.

He’s got nothing more to prove other than be on a team that is a serious contender.

I personally believe Adams would take less to also pay Puka and Burrow and get a real shot at a Super Bowl. Adams has been in the league since the LOB days and he wants a Super Bowl. It is pretty much the only thing missing for Adams.

But that’s just my take. Hope, it’s not going to happen….

Hall of Fame ability, but a bust when it comes to availability.

Plus, I wouldn't want a player - no matter how good - and especially a quarterback - that you have to constantly placate to make sure he's still "having fun". I respect the difficulties he's had to endure, and it sounds like there's some off the field elements contributing to his melancholic attitude as of late, but I would want a QB who has that internal and perpetual fire to WANT to play.

For me, it's a pass.

Was listening to John middlekauf talking about this topic and how the Bengals owner despite being cheap is also stubborn as hell and would rather ruin burrows career than let him go. Did similar to Carson Palmer and made him retire than trade him until they brought in Dalton.

How tragic. My thoughts and prayers go out to Burrow. It must be an incredibly difficult time in his life to be making hundreds of millions of dollars to play a game, but not having fun.

I like Burrow. Seems like a good guy and undoubtedly an elite QB. But whining about not having fun while making hundreds of millions for playing a game is cringe AF. How about go get a real job for a fraction of a single percent of what you're making and then get back to us about how much fun your having.

Sorry, but a word that starts with a C and ends with unt comes to mind.

I dont think burrow himself has complained? More the media saying he's wasting his career there

lol. Kind of is right.

I can see Burrow going to the Niners whilst keeping Purdy and resigning Mac Jones to a long term deal at 10 mil per as a third stringer. That would leave them plenty to sign Myles Garrett to a super max deal with enough leftover to sign Justin Jefferson to replace Aiyuk.

Meanwhile, we are forced to restructure Michael Dickson’s contract to keep Chris Stoll.

"If I want to keep doing this, I have to have fun doing it. I've been through a lot, and if it's not fun, then what am I doing for?"

That's a direct quote from Burrow. That sounds a lot like a very wealthy young man complaining about not having fun to me. 🤷‍♂️

He was basically complaining about how the franchise/ownership sucks (which it does).

Don’t we have a good rookie riding the pine AND learning how to play?

I’m also on the side of NOT being cash strapped over a guy that is a 50/50 crap shoot in terms of playing every/most games.

I’d have to see a VERY cap friendly deal to even what our front office considering Joe.

Having said that, I think our rook still has potential and I’m hopeful that he’s learning the ropes.

I kinda like the thought of building a Super Bowl contender vs Buying one.
I know we’re paying a couple of vets that didn’t start with us, but it seems much more organic than it does forced/purchased.
(If that’s understandable)

Out of 6 seasons.
He’s missed 6+ games in three of them.

All the talent in the world does your team zero good if you’re not on the field.

Imagine being in your playoff run needing to win 3 of f the next 5 and your star qb stubs his toe and finishes the season at the Drs office
