Division could very well come down to Hawks vs Niners

In looking at the Rams, Niners and Hawks upcoming schedules, head to head records, and division record, it would not shock me that the last game of the year, which is Hawks at Niners is going to be for the division. I think many people have written the Niners off, but they have the best division record right now and a winnable schedule up until the last game versus the Hawks. By the way, they are also 5.5–1 to win the division right now which is much better odds than the Hawks and Rams, who are 1.8–1 and 1–1.4 respectively to win the division. Good longshot bet.

It's kind of irrelevant unless we beat the Rams. If the Rams beat us a second time, then they're a game ahead of us and own the first tiebreaker even if the records end up even, and the division won't go through Seattle.

It’s entirely possible that both the Rams and Niners games will essentially be for the division.

When we beat the rams the division will absolutely come down to the 49ers game
Yes that was what I was trying to get across in my original post. And again, from a betting perspective the 49ers right now are a great 5.5 – 1 longshot bet.

SF now 6.5–1 to win the division. That’s an incredible bet longshot right there.

Exactly. Who thought that game was going to be relevant for both teams 10 weeks ago?

Probably everyone? I don't think the whiners have been more than a game away from first place in the division all year despite the injuries. Hate 'em all you want, but they've done a phenomenal job of being relevant all year.

Well, yes, that's how it developed, but when the 49ers had all those injuries, we all assumed that they wouldn't stay in the playoff hunt. I agree with you that it's amazing that they've kept on winning.

I can’t believe the 49ers odds on winning the division have now moved up to 7–1. If Seattle beats the Rams this week, the division will likely come down to that last game of the year at San Francisco. The risk reward ratio on those odds are ridiculously good to throw some money on.

With all that said, obviously Go Hawks!

i just dont see us winning both games. will most likely be a split. and i think they need to win both to win the division. just dont see the niners and rams losing to anyone but us, but asking the hawks or anyone in the league win both games with so much on the line is extremely difficult. the playoff run imo is an easier road with the way its laid out right now.

Shanny is a great coach. Even Belichick couldn't win with Mac Jones.
