Ok, Ive been down on 75 lately, but yesterday, I seen a big improvement. He didn’t look like a turnstile. His PFF for pass pro was 79.2.

He also had that play where he tagged that dt's helmet before the ball was hiked to draw the neutral zone penalty. Smart, heads up.

He's still carrying 30 lb. of excess, useless weight in his gut... which slows his reaction time to quick defenders shooting the gap and getting to Darnold without being touched.

We still need an upgrade at RG in next year's draft.

He also false started to cause Onyemata to jump into the neutral zone. Thankfully, the refs, inexplicably, missed it.

PFF is shit but they at least are consistent. I take them with a grain of salt. But his last 6 games (since week 9) He's had 4 79 or better grades which is good for PFF

He is this year's dog. Much like Jordyn Brooks, he plays better than most fans here seem to recognize. If we put out similar tape on other linemen, you would see many of the same "boneheaded mistakes."

I will never stop riding him, he must be reading this forum. Can't let him get content. We're always watching Brad, always watching...

You mean players actually get better with time and experience? Say it isn't so!
Instant gratification!

We have become a people that require and expect it.

I’ve been a critic, but I’ll recognize that he’s coming up to speed.
Hopefully the trend continues.

It’s obvious that the coaches see something many fans don’t.
There SHOULD BE a measure of respect for that aspect.

In case anyone missed it. We are lucky that Bradford wasn’t been called for a false start here. One pelvic thrust too many.

That's kind of how I try to roll. Not sure I always succeed, but I try. I remember back in the Holmgren days, when Chris Gray was a whipping boy for so many fans who complained "why is he still there?" for several years. Obviously the coaches liked him and how he played because he kept his position on one of the best lines we ever had for several seasons. 🤷‍♂️

There is also another aspect of this, that is in a similar vein.

Some of the criticisms are clearly Bradford playing in a rather unique way that has to be schematic/ coaching. I’m specifically thinking of him, seemingly obliviously, occupying empty rushing lanes.

If you watch, Zabel does the same thing on the left side of the line.

The diving block is another one. Not only is he not the only lineman to do that, we aren’t even the only team.

I think it’s supposed to be a way around the restriction on cut blocking, but I’m not a fan.

I don't understand this. How is an 18.0 grade 56th in the league? Did 6 teams start a traffic cone at guard?

Although a traffic cone would have fewer holding and false start penalties than Bradford did... Hmmm.
Whilst there are 64 starting positions at G there were some players who were genuinely worse than Bradford. There were also injuries, which meant some better performing players didn't reach PFF's minimum snap count qualification.

I’m a teacher. Some just take a little longer than others to get it. It looks like he is trending in the right direction.

Brooks was very possibly the most overrated Seahawk in recent memory. How anyone thought he was any good here is beyond me.

Yeah that guy, who is currently leading the league in tackles, is such a bum. Awful player.
