He was supposed to stretch the field. Being targeted for 10 yrs or less seems like a waste.

Well, not sure its his fault if he's not getting the ball thrown his way. Look at yesterday, Darnold had little to no time to look downfield.
If you're gonna' throw a long pass, it takes time to develop. He absolutely did not have time yesterday.

It seemed that the Vikings were blitzing on every play. No time for explosive plays as they had been doing previously. The leading WR in the league only had 2 receptions for 23 yards in the game. The only players on offense with any amount of success were KW3 and Charbonnet.

He's one hell of a D Coordinator. Was very impressed with their game plan on defense. What I did enjoy was seeing some legit adjustments by Kubiak in the 2nd half.

I have found it weird too, the only thing I can think of is it takes time for a QB & WR to develop chemistry with each other no matter the talent level of the WR, time beats all... it will come just have to be patient and let it happen, with that said. if by week 16, 17, or 18 and there's still no chemistry with Shaheed and he's still not a big part of the gamelan then the redflags will be going off in my head...

I am enjoying being 9-3, but I like to talk about my team for the good as well as the bad, I also like to talk about the could be's, the what if's, and the maybe's aswell...

I think what this did was it made Kubiak a better OC in the long run.

Hopefully now going forward, he includes a Hot Read on EVERY pass play for Darnold to dump the ball off to if he doesn't trust what he sees downfield.

Keep up the good discussions man. We need more of that. Too many posters have bailed who like to start fruitful discussions.

Regarding the OP, I think it just boils down to poor pass protection. Teams have figured out the weakness to our offense: blitz heavy, blitz often.
