I didn’t watch the game live. I finally told my girl I am going to put my big boy pants on and go live.

(Full disclosure: I was checking the score throughout, texting with my son who was complaining mightily about the refs.)

As soon as I do, it’s 4th and 7, Titans ball with 3:59 remaining or something like that. Ball is hiked and there is a massive, egregious holding that conveniently wasn’t called and they converted. I lost my shit, felt bad, and went back to RedZone on a delay.

Thank God we won. But by only 6 points??

This is what my son texted me…

Anytime you see this guy just know it’s about to be 50 flags 🙄🤣

I am the complete opposite. I can never miss a big game against a top opponent. But I might miss a game here or there when the Hawks are playing some of the bottom feeders.

Yep. Win by 30, win by 1. Honestly...why does it matter how it looks???

What are you, new? 😂

You know damn well we diehards demand perfection! Every single play must be perfect! Coaching, execution, effort, FLAWLESS for 60 minutes!! Opponents need to be smeared into the dirt with reckless abandon!

Anything less is uncivilized.

Did it not feel like when an older brother is playing his younger brother and could whoop his butt easily but just plays around a bit and lets the younger brother have a few wins along the way? We had no urgency, vanilla play calls, pretty simple defense and led twice in the 3rd quarter by 20. I dunno. We made some mistakes but it never felt like we were hanging on for a win. We had complete control over that game and no injuries. Can’t really complain about that.

Never in doubt. Even when they were down 3-0. Y’all realize it’s just a game and none of us have an affect on the game win lose or tie? I once destroyed a chair after a loss. That’s when I finally chilled out and just started enjoying the process. Are we really gnashing our collective teeth over a win?!

I have never missed a seahawks game in 35yrs, no matter who they play...

I don't know whether to think that is impressive or not. Sometimes life throws stuff at you that is more important than football.

I've watched every season since I was a youngster and I am 57 now. But I've had to miss some games.

Meh, my prediction was way off. Conservative poo poo today.
I mean yay we won. No turnovers that I remember. Fox claimed the game was out of market.

Hahaha!!! I don’t even demand perfection!! I just wanna see smart decisions all the time and plays that are designed to get the yards we need.

Like the titans getting that kickoff penalty and then being smart enough to kick it out of bounds and put it at the 25… who’s the idiot who came up with that new rule….

At the end of the season are you still going to remember the 6 point win on the road at 10:00am in late November? I judge my team on the number of wins at the end of the season.
As I do to, But I compare the opponents to the wins aswell, you have to do this to judge where your team sits in the conference, or division..
