I checked the history on the point spread, and that twitter post was a bit of a lie, not surprisingly. Yes, the Commanders were favored by 5.5 points, but only back on May 20th, before training camp even opened.

By the time the season started, the Seahawks were already favored over the Commanders.

Actually they are basically there to keep the bets even between betting sides so that the casino breaks even and basically takes the vig.

So if Vegas favours one side its not because they think one team is better than the other, its that they think the bettors think one team is better and the odds are there to dissuade them.

I imagine Vegas has a bunch of sharps that they poll as to what odds would make them bet on the underdog. And that's where they set the line at the beginning.

Those odds were set before the season it’s -2.5 Seattle on Deaft Kings and -3.5 Seattle elsewhere. Two weeks of rest and getting guys back healthy. Besides is Daniels even healthy?

I get it how people might want to believe Bobby is old and washed up but those people haven’t been paying attention. He’s still making plenty of great plays. His speed to the sideline isn’t what it once was but he prowls that LOS like a beast still
