Bobby has lost a bit, tackling in the box isn’t part of said “bit”.

We will see. We don't run well anyway.

Yeah, Bobby was awful in 2023, leading the entire league, and setting a Seahawks season record, with 183 tackles, and earning his 10th all pro (second team in 2023) nomination.

The defense, overall, was putrid in the second half of the season, after starting with a phenomenal 7 game stretch

We couldn't stop the run. I was there. I'm not trying to turn this into loving Bobby or not. We have the top ranked run defense. Happiness all around. The rebuild worked. Yay.

Rebuild?

The problem with the 2023 Seahawks defense was schematic, not personnel.

Wagner and Brooks lead the NFL in tackles in 2025.

Every member of the 2023 defense (that played the majority of snaps at their position) are still starting in the NFL.

We were even worse to start 2024, after cutting Bobby and Jordyn. It wasn’t until mid-season, when we brought in Jones, that the defense started to show signs of life.

Not suggesting that Wagner and Brooks are a fit in this scheme, but they are both still phenomenal players, and Wagner is still elite vs the run.
