With the injuries they have, there was no reason for them to have won that game (or even been close). They have a good coach and depth for sure. That being said I still wanted them to lose...badly. Oh well.

That being said, I also still question their coaching when it comes to all their injuries. I saw somewhere that they practice full intensity/contact as well. Which is a double edged sword, better practice/team, more injuries.

Mac earns a 400000 incentive with just one more win. Pulling for ya, Mac.

The 49ers can develope quarterbacks. Mac Jones had a season as a starter at Alabama. He became the 15th overall pick in the 21 draft. 3 seasons for the Pat's. One for the jags. Now he is relevant again. Sound familiar? Hey me, meet the real me...

I feel great for Mac Jones. That guy is a good dude , tough as hell and deserves all the credit in that game . Gutsy win
Mac looked so tough. The qb competition should be open.

There's probably a few teams that would make a serious run at Purdy if he became available. Pittsburgh would maybe be the favorite there, but I'm guessing Mac Jones ends up starting someplace else if he keeps this up.

He played great with both the Pats and Jags tho. The 49.ers didn’t develop Mac Jones he was already a good to slightly above average passer. He doesn’t have the biggest arm but he knows knows how to flight the ball over coverage, something Purdy struggles at.

Kevin Kolb, Nick Foles, Matt Cassel, Kirk Cousins, Daniel Jones, etc. If a QB shows they got something, or they might have something, there's usually a team that bites and lives with a big investment in someone who might not be worth it. Purdy probably won't be any different if they put him on the block.

Jerry Jones is the only GM that would show interest even though he signed Dak he was dumb enough to give a third for ash trey lance
