#1 Woolen
#2 Spoon
#3 Kubiak
#4 Oline
#1 Woolen sucks, period. Nuff said.
#2 Spoon is not as good as some folks hype him to be around here. I know I'll get flamed for this, but I've seen it game after game, this is going back all the way to his first year. Yes he's good, yes he'll give you some splash plays here and there, but he's not the superstar some of this fanbase and national media make him out to be. Personally, I think Jobe is better right now. My opinion it should be Jobe and Kendricks on the outside, Spoon in the nickle. I actually think he'd make a better safety, but he's too small for that.
#3 Kubiak is too vanilla and too predictable in his play calling. Running three times into a stacked box for 3 yards from your 40 when you need at least 3 points is infuriating. Running on damn near every first down into a stacked box is infuriating. But that's K-9s fault right? Right. Some folks crack me up.
#4 The OLine , especially right guard need to run block better. Pass pro was decent at times, but the run blocking was not good over all.
All this being said, the refs missed some crucial calls that took points off the board, but we didn't do ourselves any favors with penalties. The walker penalty took points off the ball, the JSN ghost penalty took points off the board. Woolens multiple penalties put points on the board for AZ. Lot of room for improvement in the secondary.
As far as K-9. They were playing the run all night, too many stacked boxes, running backs had nowhere to run.
They were successful when they were passing the ball to the tight ends and the backs. Why they didnt stick with that and back those LBs out of the box more is beyond me. to say K-9 was bad is ridiculous, he had no holes, when he did, he hit them hard and got decent yardage. There were several times he made something out of nothing as he always does.
