One more shout out to Murphy!

I know his name has been mentioned a lot lately, but thought I would add one more tidbit. Myself and others like Lon really predicted a huge step forward in his sophomore season. I know he got compared to Verse a lot last year because of draft position even though they play different positions.

It’s a long season, but check out these apples so far. Remember, Murphy is doing this while stuffing the run

I’m on record having preferred Verse, but like @SoulfishHawk says .. “Nom nom nom nom”. Murphy is going to have a helluva year and be a helluva Seahawk for a long time.

He's really dynamic. And he just turned 23, which is wild.

I wanted Verse, too. A lot. I worried Murphy would be a tweener. But that concern is looking exactly incorrect.

Verse is still awesome. He sets the tone for that whole defense on LA.

Since this is a thread for chest-pounding, I was banging on the table for Murphy during last year's draft season and boy do I feel vindicated. Dude is a force and he's surrounded by terrific talent and a great defensive head coach for putting him in the right position.
