K9 was terrible, but they also didn't really put him in a position to succeed. He's great out in space where he can use his quickness and shiftiness to make players miss and get moving.
How many play calls put him in that position today? it seems like most plays were him running into a clogged line, or getting a pitch 5 yards deep on the side of the field that the 9ers had already loaded up on.
I can’t anymore buy this excuse. what I saw was a RB how danced around until defenders were AT him. I saw a RB who was hesitant and dancing around. I saw a RB to let DBs come to him as he waited to run after having the ball. Outside his first year, it’s been the same thing with him constantly, poor vision, not following blocks, NOT TAKING WHATS GIVEN, dancing around, stuttering, hesitation, and sometimes just standing there a second before he even moves. He’s in his own way mentally. That’s a vast different from his first yr. A kid who like Charbs would get the ball and immediately take off, no dancing, no stuttering, not seeking contact. Whatever changed between then and now, he needs to regain “it”
And if the next excuse is play calls for him vs Charbs, well.. if he’s so shifty and fast what’s the reasoning he was so hesitant and danced around, sometimes waiting for defenders? Screen plays all day regardless who the receiver was, JSN, Kupp, Walker was blown up. Can’t be Oline, Charbs ran behind the same one and had no problem today .
